Heh, heheh.
Anyways, two important pieces of news: TURN IS HERE. And..
IT'S OVER NINE TY!.
------------
Turn 91 ------------
I work on becoming electrically resistant.
| You really can't figure out a way to train electrical resistance. There are very few materials to work with, and you don't dare go near andrea.
I take the T-Virus Serum cannister and put it onto the pedestal.
| You run up to andrea and swipe the container from his hand!
| You do it so quickly andrea himself doesn't notice it until half a minute later. The lightnings barely touched you, leaving slight burns on your hand that are quickly healed. Then you walk up to the pedestal and shove the container into the space above it. Immediately a translucent green crystal begins growing from the pedestal, and soon the container is encased in a giant crystalline pillar. With a loud BEEP, the "VIII" button on the panel depresses itself and glows green.
It's time for physical measures. I do various exercises to find my additional abilities.
| You start doing gymnastics, leaping and somersaulting around the cube. Your "extra clothing" falls off in the process, but you don't feel anything particularly special about yourself, even though you think you were thorough enough. Whatever your abilities may be, they are probably not related to physical prowess.
Fun! Ok, I will continue to practice my jumping skills, after I put down the case.
| You put the case down and jump around some more, but you can't do much to surpass your current skills.
if gantolandon put the key in its place, then i'll press the help button (we need that, people). if not, i'll help him. while doing any of these, i throw away the underwear decoration.
| "You walk up to the panel and stick your finger into the ""hepl"" button. Immediately, a transparent hologram appears above the panel, with a text that reads:
|2/6
Rarely wars are calmly ended,
Injured lying here and yon.
Any ailings can be mended
In this dark hexahedron.
"
I keep on jogging.
| You shake away your weariness, and keep on truckin'. You manage to keep running for the next several minutes, barely breaking a sweat. Seems you've accustomed to your heavy apparel after all.
I explore the inner realms of my mind.
| Floating deep in your subconscious, you examine yourself "from within". Interestingly, you spot something strange inside what you think is the speech center of your brain. You focus, and get rid of it. Then you continue floating inside you inner world, but can't find anything else that you could fix.
I'll try to fix my lights.
| You examine your lights. It seems they're broken well beyond repair, you'd need to replace them.
I just turn to neo so that he could show me the virus, witch I examine )basicallz thatąs another action to learn zombie making)
| You look at the case Neo left on the floor and examine the cylinders with the blue liquid. It seems to be plain blue water, and you can't learn anything useful.
I try to gain powers of minor telepathy, so I can make someone more agreeable towards my point of view.
| You sit down and relax, bringing yourself into a trance. You visualize yourself inside your subconscious, a gloomy twisted realm filled with dreams and horrors. Journeying through it, you locate a part of your mind that seems responsible for sending and receiving psychic messages, existing in the form of a giant radar array with massive dishes pointing upwards, eclipsing four of the seven purple suns in the teal sky. An impenetrable dark cloud looms above the facility, pale green lightning flares swirling deep within its bowels. You approach the massive base of the main dish and notice a large lever on the wall, covered in literally tons of dust and webbing, as if unused for millenia. The lever creaks as you try to pull it, dust and webbing reluctantly releasing it from their grasp. You grab the lever with both hands and set your feet against the wall, using the entirety of your strength to PULL!!! The webbings tear and fall apart, whole sheets of dust and rust fall off from the lever, and even pulling with such force yields only small progress. Then suddenly the lever lets out a
CRRACK! and is loose! You fall to the ground, and the lever finally rests in the "on" position, as indicated by the markings at its base. Whirring and humming fills the air around you, but you pay no attention to it, drawn to the sign hidden under the layers of dust on the wall. In large red letters over a black/yellow background, the sign says:
OVERDRIVE. You sit still for a moment, comprehending the situation, but are torn out of your stupor by a sudden blast of thunder! You look around and see that the massive dishes began to glow white! Suddenly pillars of blinding light shoot upwards from them through the dark cloud, causing it to disperse and disappear! The very existence around you suddenly begins to shift and warp, then the horizon blazes into flames and then the last thing you see before you wake up are dozens of tornadoes bearing in on the facility, with mushroom clouds rising in the distance. As you open your eyes and try to stand up, you feel your head being filled with sounds and images, vague shapes and memories that are clearly not our own. They overlap your own thoughts and you can barely think straight, but you manage to concentrate enough to stand up. (Empowered Telepathy - you can send and receive psychic messages (language restrictions apply) to communicate with any sentient being within a range of three miles. Telepathic Overdrive - you receive mental imagery of various forms from all sentient beings within your telepathy range, giving you penalties to mental and physical actions dependent on the number of these beings; in addition, your thoughts are broadcast into the psychic space, affecting every telepath within your TP range.)
I attempt to increase my armor's protective powers.
| You stand up. Noticing that you now have the piece of dwarven armor, you stick it onto the chest of your minimech and order it to absorb the piece. The shining material of the armor spreads across the chest portion of your suit, lining it with silvery plates and increasing the protection of your body. (+1 against blunt damage to the body)
I study the art of summoning, giving me a bonus at learning to summon
| No matter how hard you try, you cannot go beyond theoretizing about the nature of the summoning powers.
------------
NPC Actions:
Allied: A stocky bearded creature that is the dwarf. Once a Keeper of Nogzulban, this dwarf has travelled with your company almost by accident. Clad in shiny plate armor with a chainmail underneath, this dwarf could be a potent warrior. Armed with a notched axe, but cannot use it properly. (+1 target dodge)
The dwarf does some situps to practice his physique.
| He practices and practices, and eventually gets tired and stops. He seems to have become a little more agile.

---------
Artifacts: "A massive, massive, MASSIVE sword. It is three meters long, 1'3'' (~40cm) wide, and dazzingly bright. Its fine steel has been polished to reflect light like a mirror. Its one edge is curved, jagged at the hilt, the other is straight and so sharp it could probably slice adamantine blocks like salami. Down the center of the sword, which is at least 2'' thick, runs a hollow slit 3'' wide, in which yeat another, smaller and straighter sword is concealed. The entire surface of both swords, except of course the sharp cutting edges, is finely engraved with uncountable images, among which the launching of the Challenger, world war II, a nuclear explosion, a trainwreck, and a rotary excavator. The hilt itself (being at the same time the hilt of the smaller sword) is decorated with gold and emeralds you can only assume you've taken from someone, arranged in beautiful patterns, and the handle is woven with three lines - one is a scaly snake with two small rubies in the eyes, and two seem awfully like DNA strands. You get a feeling you could decipher the human genome if you looked closely enough. The guard of the hilt is exquisitely detailed as well, but right down the senter of it, spanning the breadth of the sword, is a solid rectangular golden plate, with the single word: ""ASHCRAVER"" deeply embossed onto it. The entire thing is so immeasurably brilliant, you almost don't want to touch it fearing it'll stick to your hand and corrupt you like some magic ring. Overcoming this fear, you pick it up. Despite its size, it is relatively lightweight, relatively, of course, to anything else so large and made of steel. (+2 to damage, +1 to attack, -1 agility)
The second form is a smaller (comparatively) blade, that together with the folding hilt guard looks like an overgrown sai. It's also exquisitely detailed, but lighter. (+1 to damage).
The Ashcraver seems to accumulate the energy released by the deaths it causes. The process is admittedly rather slow, but has good uses."
"The ring consists of a toroidal adamantine core surrounded by a shell of tempered steel with thin bands of gold along the rims of the ring. Set into an adamantine frame on its top is a Star Sapphire imbued with the dark soul of a Greater Demon, under absolute control of the wearer. The steel surface of the ring is covered by three hundred tiny tiles of granite, engraved with images of various creatures, all being dead.
The wearer of the ring may call onto the soul of the demon, which can manipulate darkness and fire - anything from direct projection to creating sentient forms to giving protection against.
The wearer can also give an order to summon a creature mad with rage (any creature from the DF world you have seen), which will use up one or several of the stone tiles, depending on the power of the creature. The tiles may be restored, but only through personally killing sentient creatures with bare hands and absorbing their essence with the ring, which also adds that creature to the ""summonable creatures"" list.
The price to pay for all this power is a constant aura of darkness that any living being will feel (and will react accordingly), and the wearer may, under critical stress, give in and become controlled by the trapped demon soul.
(No passive bonuses. In a single turn, you can either perform an act of darkness/fire manipulation (including creating a prolonged effect), or summon a creature/creatures, but not both. The magnitude and potential of both depend on your skill - the ring grants ""basic level"" only. You can only absorb the essence of a creature you killed with your own bare hands, and only if it died last turn, at most.)
Currently applied effects: (-1 to relevant ability for every active effect)
Darkfire halberd - haft of materialized darkness."

Environment:
Dark Metal Cube: A large dark metal cube, 10 meters to a side. The floor is covered by a large amount of underwear, and a rug of a greenish color, that feels like moss to the touch. The ceiling glows with a uniform white light, leaving no significant shadows in the room. Along three of the walls, there are 9 pedestals, marked "I" through "IX". On the fourth wall, there is a green panel with nine yellow buttons, also marked "I" through "IX", and two smaller buttons, one marked "X" in the upper right corner, and one marked "Hepl" in the bottom left. The "IV" and "VIII" buttons on the panel are depressed and glowing green. The pedestals marked "IV" and "VIII" are encased in pillars of green crystal. On the same wall there are hatches with latches, leading to quantum underwear stockpiles. One stockpile is depleted, its hatch is surrounded by a red light.

Background: [4] Now there's absolutely nothing interesting in the cube. If there is anyone alive in the van, they don't make their presence known.
