Actually, I meant something along the lines of this, with a shoulder strap:

One more use of forum games - expanding your vocabulary! I now know what a holdall is. :P

More commonly used words for something of that sort would be: duffel bag, or gym bag.
Though, admittedly, I've never seen either of those in leather.. but then, I wouldn't want to put RPG rounds in a fancy leather bag either.

Rolls, rolls... I got a little hijacked here and there, so I've been away from the the computer for the better part of the last two days. And the rolls aren't all that good, though the cube more or less makes sure nothing TOO bad can happen. :) Still, again the only overshot in the turn happened to come to the person who needs it the least. :P

I think you would've ripped the van apart if you got an overshot. No, it's something more... flashy. ;)

Phew. Alright, sorry it took so long.

It wasn't much of a turn, but Andrea spiced it up a bit. Korora got both lucky and unlucky. :P

There are probably some errors there, I might have forgotten some bits because I was chipping away at the turn for two days.

------------
Turn 90
------------
Quote from: Jay Kayell
I try to improve my pyrogenesis powers.
|   You remain on the verge of consciousness, almost like very deep sleep.
Quote from: chaoticag
I check the back of the van.
|   The van's back doors are still closed, so you have to jump in over the side. Your armor proves a little too restricting for that manuever though, but at least you did not suffer any wounds in your futile attempt.
Quote from: andrea
i work on my electricity manipulation powers
|   Suddenly your maul shines with a very bright light and begins to crack and fizzle, releasing powerful strikes of lightning to wreak havok on everyone and everything in the cube!!! | You resist the crackling bolts and struggle against the sudden outbreak. Eventually you bring it under control, but it has caused a great deal of damage in the meantime. While LASD, Kashyyk, Zako and Neo were some distance away and were not touched, the lightnings caused some degree of discomfort and pain for the others. Gantolandon was only slightly shocked, since he was standing right behind you, and the nearby dwarf provided some protection, drawing lightnings to his metal armor. The armor protected the dwarf, too, and he was only slightly dazed.  The van was barely damaged as well. Chaoticag got a nasty shock from touching the car at the moment, it seriously burned his arm and half his upper body. Boksi is caught in a massive burst of writhing arcs and steps back to avoid it, but carelessly leans against the metal wall of the cube in the process and gets a massive shock that throws him some four meters away from the wall, thoroughly cooked and unconscious. Frelock got hit through his metal staff again, receiving severe burns and blisters on most of the upper body. Writhing in pain, he makes a mental note to find some rubber grips for the thing. JK's internal layer of protection allows him to remain barely affected, and Rooster's tough body withstood the few shocks he managed to gather. Of all, korora got hit the most, his massive metal body attracted the lightning like a goddam giant magnet. Unable to reroute such a great amount of power, Korora's systems burned out, locking his memory and sending him into hard-reboot while whatever redundant systems remained tried to reinstate control over the faintly swaying mass of metal. The lamps on his shoulders exploded into a rain of sparks and shards of glass. Well, at least his underwear decorations burned off, as did Boksi's. Thankfully, the cube reacted quickly and dispensed some more green orbs to restore the damage taken by the company. You have managed to learn something, too - you will now better control the collateral caused by your electricity, unless you want it to cause damage.
Quote from: Gantolandon
I deactivate the door lock from the inside. I'm going to mend the roof with the rest of the van later.
|   You manage to get to the driver's seat, but all your attempts at disabling the lock have failed. It seems it was never meant to be deactivated like that. In addition, you managed to completely jam the front door locks  - they won't open even from the inside now.
Quote from: Boksi
I sit down and make pretty pictures out of fire.
|   You draw pretty fiery pictures in your mind. They're very pretty, but ultimately intangible.
Quote from: Frelock
I meditate to increase my mental capacity.
|   You sit down to meditate, entering a deep trance…  however, the events of the past few hours proved exhilarating for you, and you slip into a blissful sleep.
Quote from: korora
I'll now try to turn into a truck... maybe by shouting TRUCK!
|   You have completely lost control of your body, and cannot move until you reboot. | The backup systems manage to reroute control paths and powerlines, and bring you online in a matter of seconds, but you are somewhat disoriented as your systems run self-checks, sending excessive data through your mind.
Quote from: Neo1096
I will acquire precognition: like spider-sense to help me in fighting and dodging.
|   You try to focus your senses to augment your combat capability…  you manage to hear the dwarf grumbling something to himself across the room, but that's about it.
Quote from: Zako
I examine my body to see what it is capable of.
|   And once again you fail to find anything special about your body. That's strange, because you definetly feel that there's something special…
Quote from: LASD
I shrug off the underwear and start jogging around the cube to overcome my -1 endurance penalty.
|   You throw the underwear off, and start jogging around the cube… jog, jog, jog, jog… after a while you get tired and decide to rest for a bit. You feel you made good progress on this, but it's probably going to take a little more effort to train your endurance.
Quote from: Kashyyk
I retry my rpg7 ammo summon again.
|   You try, but fail again, though without any explosive consequences this time.
Quote from: Rooster
I could use a microscope so yeah I search for it and If I can't it try to make one
|   There's a pronounced lack of appropriate materials in the cube, so it's hardly possible to make a microscope. Nevertheless you try, and with the help of LASD's tools you make a small magnifying glass out of the van's headlight.

A stocky bearded creature that is the dwarf. Once a Keeper of Nogzulban, this dwarf has travelled with your company almost by accident. Clad in shiny plate armor with a chainmail underneath, this dwarf could be a potent warrior. Armed with a notched axe, but cannot use it properly. (+1 target dodge)
He decides to practice his axe-swings.
|   He spends some time swinging his axe around, but doesn't get any better at it.

Spoiler: The Ashcraver (click to show/hide)
---------
Environment:
Dark Metal Cube:   A large dark metal cube, 10 meters to a side. The floor is covered by a large amount of underwear, and a rug of a greenish color, that feels like moss to the touch. The ceiling glows with a uniform white light, leaving no significant shadows in the room. Along three of the walls, there are 9 pedestals, marked "I" through "IX". The pedestal marked "IV" is encased in a pillar of green crystal. The "VIII" pedestal is glowing. On the fourth wall, there is a green panel with nine yellow buttons, also marked "I" through "IX", and two smaller buttons, one marked "X" in the upper right corner, and one marked "Hepl" in the bottom left. The "IV" button on the panel is depressed and glowing green. On the same wall there are hatches with latches, leading to quantum underwear stockpiles. One stockpile is depleted, its hatch is surrounded by a red light.
------------
Background: [3]   There's still nothing particularly odd. The green cylinder Andrea is holding seems to vibrate, and the pedestal marked "VIII" continues to glow.

I think it is about time we moved on to the next world. If everyone is okay with it, I press I. If not I work on becoming electrically resistant.

Scratch that, the button does not get pressed till the artifact is on the pedistal.
