Whatever Andrea did, i worked. Too well, I might add, so maybe this wasn't the right moment to do it?

The rolls so far, without applied penalties/bonuses, are: 2,3,4,4,4,5,5,6,6,6,6. I don't doubt LASD will get something similar. I should point out that there's only so much damage the roof can take before collapsing and taking the entire building with it. Same goes for the skyscraper, and this time Zako is IN it. And by the way, Zako doesn't have a protective field like Frelock does. What else... Oh, Rooster took a direct approach to virus research, or will if he fails a sanity check. Neo has me stumped, but I'll try to think of something. It's going to be one fun turn if the dice suddenly turn to 2s and 1s on luck and damage rolls...

I'm probably spoiling too much, but most of the fun's in the details, right? The building will most likely have to withstand: the destruction of its main staircase, yet another hole in the roof (third), a mighty tornado in its main elevator shaft, and a TK blast into its first floor. The chances of it remaining standing are... slim, but existent. :) Heh heh... >_>

Alright, LASD is here finally, so I'll pause until he makes an action.

Oh, hello there, Sean. ;) I'm not giving up the game, I've just been busy.

Urgh, I really don't want to be where I'm know. Also I would like to paralyze the Nemesis, but I probably won't be able to see him, even with binoculars and getting up the skyscraper takes quite long. Also building something like an AA-gun could be useful, but it wouldn't save us from the fallout.

Hmmmmmm, what to do. I still want the binoculars, so I guess I'll gather things around the street and try to combine them to a pair of binoculars.

Perhaps I can crate a shield of air that is moving at high speeds to protect myself with? And I claim the tornado as my doing!

LASD, actually you'd be better off searching for the panel. Someone will have to do it either way. But, next turn. I've had some paperwork dumped onto me just now (yeah, at this hour), so only half the turn is done. And the stairs are missing. If Zako's action goes even slightly wrong, it's bye-bye building.

I'll search for the panel then, I'll probably have a better chance of getting the binoculars later if we survive this world.

If my ride is okay, I drive it towards where the alley was.

If not, I just rummage around it for whatever useful items I can find.

Okay, I might have missed a thing or two in the statuses, correct me please if you find errors.

Also, sorry Zako, I made all the rolls I could to try and save you. Unless Frelock intervenes, you're pretty much f*cked.

------------
Turn 83
------------
Quote from: Kashyyk
I run over to Boksi's bus and try to use my hitherto forgotten knowledge on vehicles to fix the problem
|   You walk over to the bus, but cannot for the life of you figure out what's wrong. The engine seems alright, to you at least.
Quote from: andrea
i collapse the stairs, pushing as many zombies as i can on them before destroying.
|   You let loose a frightening yell full of anger and hate, probably in an attempt to scare the living crap out of the zombies. The yell didn't work, probably no living crap in the zombies. As your anger does not abate, you raise your empowered maul above your head, and with a mighty cry you slam it down against the floor! | The maul crashed thunderously into the concrete, showering the zombies with bits of shrapnel as the powerful shockwave of lightning sent them flying back onto the stair, twitching in severe convulsions. After a second, an alarming cracking sound drew your attention, and you quickly step back as several large cracks began forming on the floor, and started quickly growing and getting wider, expanding toward the staircase. In no longer than ten seconds, the cracks reached the opposite end of the stair, which began to shift dangerously. The zombies that overcame the shock lunged forward, trying to reach you, but their effort was in vain. In an instant, the entire flight of stairs connecting to the top floor collapsed in a great cloud of dust, | taking the next flight with it, and the next, and the next, collapsing the staircase all the way down to the bottom, leaving you to choke on massive amounts of dust. The hit shook the entire building violently, and the damage it took was extensive. Many structural components were centered on the main staircase, and with its destruction the building began to lose stability and structural integrity. The floor under your feet begins to shift slightly, and very unpleasant creaking and crumbling sounds are heard all around. (-1 building structural roll, only the elevator remains as a way to get up or down)
Quote from: Gantolandon
There is no time for finesse. I blast the zombies with a TK blast and run to the skyscraper.
|   You open the door and get out. Aiming in the general direction of the zombies, you concentrate your powers and try to release them as one directed blast. | The blast ends up being too thin to actually damage the zombie horde. It pushes them forward, making a few of tem fall over, but they don't notice you.
Quote from: Frelock
I fire a shimmering arrow at the mutant zombie, going clean through its head, scrambling its brains, et.ced.
|   You take out the shortbow and take aim. Without any practice though, you cannot release the arrow with sufficient accuracy or force to do any real damage. | The shimmering projectile thunks into the roof halfway toward the mutant zombie, and quite shifted sideways. | The guards are alarmed at you taking out a weapon, but your fickle attempt makes some of them actually laugh out loud, and they lighten up a bit. They still treat you as a possible threat though.
Quote from: Jay Kayell
I smash my way through the ceiling to get to the roof, without the aid of my new flying powers. If possible I scan the area to determine where the key is as well.
|   Ungh…HWA! <CRASH!> Focusing your strength, you launch yourself upwards, smashing clean through the thick concrete of the roof with your fists! | As some debris continue to fall and the dustcloud around the hole settles, you land on your feet several meters away from it. The woman and the large mutant thing, as well as the rest of the guards and all other people on the roof, stop whatever it was they were doing and look at you intently. | You don't look all that friendly in their eyes. The guards are frightened by such display of force, and let loose with all their weapons at you! | They're obviously panicking, because they can't seem to line up their gun with your massive armor. Bullets riddle the concrete of the roof around you, some strike the helicopter, but not even one manages to hit you. | The gunfire doesn't let you hear it, but you can feel that the roof begins slightly shifting, as if your weight is too much for it.
Quote from: Neo1096
I lose my fear of fire
|   You manage to overcome your fear of fire, understanding that better knowing it will let you escape any harm it might bring. (lose the -1 to dodge against fire)
Quote from: korora
I'll use my reflection to figure out what my equipment does and how to use it.
|   You examine yourself in the reflective surface of the glass. You notice several things you couldn't see before. First of all, it strikes you as exceedingly odd that your own body is relatively slim, and most of the volume it takes up is constructed of car parts - not bent or warped into shape, but whole parts that seem like they'd connect back into working order. You ponder this one for a sec. Then you see that the sword on your back just doesn't HAVE a handle. It strikes you as important for some reason. You notice something like a sheath on your thigh, but upon closer inspection it turns out to be decorative. Or not? You suspect it has some meaning, and use, but cannot immediately figure it out. The image of crossed swords on your hood glints in the light, and seems to be subtly glowing from within. Turning to looking for more mundane items, you see that the roof lights of the truck are now sitting on your shoulders, and can provide light if needed. You're sad to find no nifty blasters hidden anywhere.
Quote from: Zako
OK, enough waiting, I wrench the elevator doors of a nonworking elevator open and fly up the shaft to the top floor.
|   Not wanting to lose time waiting for the elevator, you jump to the somewhat bent doors of the other elevator, and force them apart. Then, focusing all of your mind on the aerogenesis power, you create a powerful blast of wind and use it to fly up along the shaft! | The sudden peak in air pressure explosively opens all the remaining doors along the elevator's shaft, wrenching them from their guide rails and throwing them against whatever walls or furniture that happened to face them. You quickly ascend, but forget that the shaft in such high buildings tends to rather abruptly end because the elevators can't travel all the way up... The faint light in the shaft is barely enough for you to see the block of elevator motors, you swerve sideways into a maintenance side-shaft, fly through it, and smash right through the bottom of another elvevator waiting on the next floor. The hit leaves you unconscious, which is all the better because you won't be able to see your mangled body for a while. Your skull is cracked, your neck took a heavy hit, your clavicles, shoulders, upper arms, and the upper body in general, are all lacerated, battered, and broken. | Your brain is damaged, several ribs broke and your left lung is punctured by one of them. You're heavily bleeding, and generally in very bad shape. Let it be at least some consolation that your body is firmly stuck in the broken floor, and will not easily fall back down the shaft.
Quote from: Rooster
If I succeded with T-virus I try to get a way to make zombies like mr Lordi if I didn't I try again with first action
|   You figure out the problem you had with studying the virus - you cannot research it if you can't affect it or even look at it! Therefore, you decide, rather rashly, that you might get a good result if you obtained some of the virus and let it into your body, hoping for your regeneration to convert it. | You almost proceed to obtain a sample of chaoticag's blood when you re-think the possible implications and realise it could be far more dangerous than you can anticipate. You decide to leave the virus alone for now.
Quote from: LASD
Hmmmmmm, what to do. I still want the binoculars, so I guess I'll gather things around the street and try to combine them to a pair of binoculars.
|   You rummage through the surroundings. You obtain several sets of broken and intact glasses, and some plastic tubes. Using your tools to fix things together and bend them into shape, you manage to create a pair of crude binoculars. They don't work all that well, but at least you can fine-tune their zoom and focus. (+1 background check if used, abilities involving sight can be used at greater distances)
Quote from: chaoticag
(RTTAI:{6}): I run after the zombie dogs, screaming at them to come back and fight! And I try to kill them, of course.
|   You charge after the still-burning zombie dogs, and yell expletives to attract their attention! And yeah, they really do turn their attention to you. They turn around, skidding, and charge toward you! | You can't quite evade them in this situation, and completely fumble your attack, but at least both dogs aimed for your chest, and couldn't penetrate the plate armor there. You tumble backward and prepare to continue fighting. | The virus still dwells within you, you can feel its presence, but at least it doesn't kill you just yet.
Quote from: Boksi
(RTTAI:{3}): Darn bus! Ok, I also try to figure out what's wrong with the thing.
|   You look at the engine along with Kashyyk. No dice. Everything seems to be in working order. You try the engine again. The starter struggles for as long as it can, but the engine seems to have lost its spark. Then you look at the dashboard, and begin banging your head on the steering wheel in frustration. The fuel gauge shows "Empty". The driver must've left the thing running when he ran off himself, and it used up all the juice. Well, there's plenty of cars around, there should be some gas somewhere, right?

NPC Actions:
Allied:
Quote from: Kosak Sidasin Lokumzuden
A stocky bearded creature that is the dwarf. Once a Keeper of Nogzulban, this dwarf has travelled with your company almost by accident. Clad in shiny plate armor with a chainmail underneath, this dwarf could be a potent warrior. Armed with an axe, but cannot use it properly. (+1 target dodge)
The dwarf grooms his beard and examines the bus Boksi found.
|   He runs into the bus, shows brief disgust over the interior's state, and proceeds to make it worse by slashing up the seats with his axe. Maybe they look like monsters to him?
Neutral:
None.
Enemy:
Street Zombie Dogs:{2}   The dogs back off, waiting for a better moment to attack.
Staircase zombies:Staircase'd
Lobby zombies:{6}   The zombies break through the plexiglas and burst into the lobby! Some try to find the staircase, but it is destroyed. Others pour into the broken doors of the first elevator and fall two floors down into the basement. Many remain and wander around the lobby.
Corporate guards:{5}   The guards focus their fire on Jay Kayell! | The condensed stream of bullets hit Jay Kayell with all their lethal force! Mostly, they just bounce off the armor harmlessly. Several more bullets hit the helicopter, angry voices yelling expletive equivalents of "stop it you idiots!" come from its direction. Jay Kayell instinctively takes a few steps backwards, but stops in time not to fall back down the hole.
Woman in red: Uses the sudden distraction to throw some wicked move at the mutant, knocks him over, and pins him down.
Big mutant thug: Lies on the roof, listening to what the woman says to him. Suddenly the woman stands up and walks away from him. He gets up and walks toward his gattling that sits on the ground nearby.

---------
Artifacts:
---------
Environment:
Raccoon city, as seen from above:   A large-ish city, roughly circular in layout. The downtown has numerous skyscrapers of varied height, and further towards the edges the buildings become less and less pronounced, forming an uneven mass of constructions that abruptly ends, hitting a high wall that surrounds the city for some reason. There aren't any clearly noticable locations, except maybe a few hospitals and malls that manage to stand out.
Raccoon city, dark alleyway barren crater:   Was a usual dark and damp alleyway in the slums of some big city, between two large buildings. Now a rather barren crater with a broken sewer pipe in the middle. The rug and the panel is there someplace. It is night, but many street lights don't work.
Raccoon city, gloomy street:   A street that the alleyway connects to. It's a little cleaner than the place you've been at now, but not too broad, and not much less darker. At least half the lamps on the street are not lit. A number of buildings of varied sizes go along the street. You see something that looks like a major street or highway, crossing this one some distance away.
Raccoon city, central skyscraper:   A tall building of glass and steel. A helicopter is standing on the roof. The front lobby is a wide-ish hall with a security booth and some decorative chairs/plants. An elevator and stairs (broken) both lead to upper floors. The 30th floor is poorly lit, but looks like a lab or elaborate office floor. The last floor seems to be reserved for a large amount of ventilation and general "life support" machinery. From the outside, the bulding looked to have at least 60 floors. The roof of the building is the site of a massacre. Many bodies clad in riot armor lay there, along with assault weaponry. A lot of these riot policemen are still alive, too. A fight is going on. Several people stand near the helicopter. The elevator shaft doors have been blasted out on all floors. There's a mighty fine hole going from the 30th floor through the roof of the building. There are two more holes in the roof. The roof is wobbly, as is the entire building.
Raccoon city, central highway:   A four-lane highway intersecting the gloomy street, and going on towards the center of the city. Many other small streets intersect this one, and there are a lot of cars present, though most are pretty banged up or burned. There's a hospital some distance along the street.
Raccoon city hospital:   A large white building that just screams "HOSPITAL" when you look at it. A number of cars, and several ambulances stand near it, in various conditions.
------------
Background: [5]   The mutant thug looks like he's going to use that big gun of his, and not on the woman. Seems like they became friends or something. The helicopter continues to rev up, the rotor is spinning fast, it is almost ready to leave. Some more people appear from behind some structure on the roof, and sneak towards the helicopter. The woman begins a heated argument with the people at the helicopter. The glowing speck is still a ways away from the city, but seems to be heading straight here.
