Alright, here's the turn. Btw, I'm typing this in near-complete darkness, and at minimum screen brightness. Now I've almost grasped blind ten-fingered typing on this keyboard. It's amazing what skills can forum games make you acquire.
------------
Turn 58 ------------
Who needs legs? I'll try to float above the ruins of the tavern and use my ring along with my enhanced intimidation to scare the army away. That'll hopefully keep the artifact-getters safe.
| You clamber on top of the rubble heap and turn as intimidating as you can in your current state. To your surprise, there is no more army to speak of - just a pair of demons and a smallish band of monsters not far away.
I'll fight my way back to the tavern.
| You execute a powerful upwards slash at the demon near you,
| which he easily dodges, but then stumbles and falls backwards. You then take another swipe at the fire demon as you run past him,
| which he ignores completely, letting the blade pass through the flames. Slightly worried about this development, you arrive at the, well, tavern, if you can still call it that.
I learn the art of pyrokinesis and pyrogenesis, how to control and create fire.
| You remain unconscious and your mind cannot grasp the manipulation of the outer world without contacting that world.
I use my TK ripper on the container to get it open.
| You throw the container upwards. Before it starts falling, you take out your sword and charge it with TK power. Aiming carefully, you swing at the falling container!
FWOOOOSH!! Strrrriike ONE! You managed to completely miss the container, and it fell on you foot as payback for trying to bust it.
| It's fairly lightweight though, so didn't leave so much as a bruise.
I'll heal Elica, Boski, and JK.
| JK's a little too far away for your efforts, so you try to heal Elica and Boksi. Despite the two being a moderate distance away, you manage to completely heal them. You feel more confident in your healing skill. (Target range upgrade after one more perfect on moderate range.)
I'll get out from the pit and walk to the container. If possible and if the container is open, I'll take the key. If the container is still intact, I'll hit it with my shield.
| Showing some impressive agility and climbing ability, you manage to get out of the pit. The container's still not open, so you walk up to it and smack it with your shield in frustration.
| It seems that was all the container needed. Something cracked, and the container crumpled into a heap of metal shards. Something's glowing green under those shards.
I practice moving my body remotely. (so I get better at it)
| You strain your mind, trying to find your body, but you still cannot locate it. But you started feeling feedback from the body, slightly improving your movements with it. (+1 to object interaction with severed body parts)
"i send a powerful lightning toward the chief badguy( as you called it) and the monsters near him/her/it
just to show him that korora isn't the only target. it is so annoying that no enemyes think that i am dangerous enough"
| You charge up your maul, and send a powerful arc of lightning from it!
| The bolt hits the group of monsters dead center!
| You see several of them fall, writhing in agony. They still approach as a group, not letting you see who or what is in the center. For that matter, you cannot even discern what monsters are forming the group.
I search for our exit/entry point among the ruins. It should be somewhere there…
| After doing some digging, you find a corner of the fuzzy green rug sticking from under the rubble.
I try to convert a demon to my side by playing death metal
| You whip out your guitar-axe and start pounding on it, producing something barely intelligible! You play louder and louder until everyone within hearing distance has to struggle to keep their sanity!!!
Boksi:{3+1} Because Boksi was concentrating on intimidation, he could resist the music's adverse effects.
andrea:{4} Andrea was largely unaffected as well, though he considered the music pretty awful.
Frelock:{2} Frelock stops his ears, but he is affected by the terrible sounds.
| It doesn't go beyond momentary dizziness though.
Gantolandon:{4} Gantolandon's full helm muffles the sounds, and he is unaffected.
Kashyyk:{1} Kashyyk doesn't even have arms to stop his ears, so he is forced to listen to Rooster's playing!
| He barely remains sane, but his mind is left completely out of whack. (-1 to all rolls until the end of the next turn)
korora:{4} Korora manages to shrug off the psyhic effect of the music.
chaoticag:{1} Chaoticag can't, however, and his sanity is threatened!
| He falls to the ground as his mind shuts off to prevent mental damage.
LASD:{4} LASD instinctively puts his shield between himself and Rooster in an attempt to defend himself. Suprisingly, it does work, and LASD is not affected.
Jay Kayell:{3} JK manages to cover his ears with his armor's large hands in time to prevent being seriously affected.
Elica:{3} Elica stops his ears and drops to the ground, trying hard not to commit suicide.
Demon#3:{3} The demon is barely affected by the music, though the expression on his face tells you even he has heard better.
Fire demon:{2} The fiery figure twitches, its fire starts flickering wildly.
| Suddenly it lets out a high-pitched shriek and drops dead, its flames dispersing to reveal a thin bony body with grey tattered skin. It seems some internal resonance killed it.
| Rooster feels warmth inside.
------------
NPC Actions:
Allied: Elica is a swordself. Recently hired by Frelock. He's armed with a wooden longsword, and dressed in (somewhat pierced and rather torn) green-grey close-fitting clothing with scarce leaf-shaped decoration.
Elica throws his sword at Rooster to knock his guitar out of his hands.
| He tries to throw the sword, but in doing so he uncovers his ears and is affected by Rooster's music!
| His ears start to bleed, he might be deaf now. He falls to the ground again, clutching his ears.
Enemy: First Keeper is dead. His key is taken. Second Keeper is dead. His key is taken. Third Keeper:{5-2} The dwarf seems to come to his senses, but a brief exposure to the ongoing concerto knocks him out again.
Fourth Keeper is dead. His armor is taken with the key. Final Keeper is dead. His helmet's taken. Marksdwarf guard: status unknown Winged demon#1: Died of critical bodypart loss. Winged demon#2: Died of severe organ shortage. Winged demon#3:{4} The demon throws a fireball at Rooster!
| Rooster blocks it with his axe, but the fire melts the strings off the makeshift weapon of mass destruction, rendering it useless for performing purposes.
Fire demon: Died of internal resonance cascade. ------------

"The ring consists of a toroidal adamantine core surrounded by a shell of tempered steel with thin bands of gold along the rims of the ring. Set into an adamantine frame on its top is a Star Sapphire imbued with the dark soul of a Greater Demon, under absolute control of the wearer. The steel surface of the ring is covered by three hundred tiny tiles of granite, engraved with images of various creatures, all being dead.
The wearer of the ring may call onto the soul of the demon, which can manipulate darkness and fire - anything from direct projection to creating sentient forms to giving protection against.
The wearer can also give an order to summon a creature mad with rage (any creature from the DF world you have seen), which will use up one or several of the stone tiles, depending on the power of the creature. The tiles may be restored, but only through personally killing sentient creatures with bare hands and absorbing their essence with the ring, which also adds that creature to the ""summonable creatures"" list.
The price to pay for all this power is a constant aura of darkness that any living being will feel (and will react accordingly), and the wearer may, under critical stress, give in and become controlled by the trapped demon soul.
(No passive bonuses. In a single turn, you can either perform an act of darkness/fire manipulation (including creating a prolonged effect), or summon a creature/creatures, but not both. The magnitude and potential of both depend on your skill - the ring grants ""basic level"" only. You can only absorb the essence of a creature you killed with your own bare hands, and only if it died last turn, at most.)"

"A massive, massive, MASSIVE sword. It is three meters long, 1'3'' (~40cm) wide, and dazzingly bright. Its fine steel has been polished to reflect light like a mirror. Its one edge is curved, jagged at the hilt, the other is straight and so sharp it could probably slice adamantine blocks like salami. Down the center of the sword, which is at least 2'' thick, runs a hollow slit 3'' wide, in which yeat another, smaller and straighter sword is concealed. The entire surface of both swords, except of course the sharp cutting edges, is finely engraved with uncountable images, among which the launching of the Challenger, world war II, a nuclear explosion, a trainwreck, and a rotary excavator. The hilt itself (being at the same time the hilt of the smaller sword) is decorated with gold and emeralds you can only assume you've taken from someone, arranged in beautiful patterns, and the handle is woven with three lines - one is a scaly snake with two small rubies in the eyes, and two seem awfully like DNA strands. You get a feeling you could decipher the human genome if you looked closely enough. The guard of the hilt is exquisitely detailed as well, but right down the senter of it, spanning the breadth of the sword, is a solid rectangular golden plate, with the single word: ""ASHCRAVER"" deeply embossed onto it. The entire thing is so immeasurably brilliant, you almost don't want to touch it fearing it'll stick to your hand and corrupt you like some magic ring. Overcoming this fear, you pick it up. Despite its size, it is relatively lightweight, relatively, of course, to anything else so large and made of steel.
The second form is a smaller (comparatively) blade, that together with the folding hilt guard looks like an overgrown sai. It's also exquisitely detailed, but lighter. (+1 to damage, -1 to agility).
The Ashcraver seems to accumulate the energy released by the deaths it causes. The process is admittedly rather slow, but has good uses."

---------
Environment:
Human/Dwarven Capital: Large city on the outskirts of hell knows where. Holds a modest amount of homes, from hovels to two-floor apartment buildings, a set of shops, a (destroyed)temple, and a (demolished)keep. Now overrun by an army of darkness.
Tavern: Was a two-floor building. Now it's a mangled ruin, thoroughly blasted apart and embedded in a large pile of rubble that was once located near the keep. The building used to contain your enter/exit point, but how to use it is completely up to you now.
Food store: Square one-floor building with long tables laden with salted and fried meats of all kinds. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. There's a mighty fine hole broken through the ceiling.
Cloth store: Rolls of cloth and various cloth, silk, and leather articles of clothing are on the many shelves inside this building. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. The entire building is barely standing, most of its roof is collapsed. There's a pile of elf-paste near the building, and some elven corpses.
Armor store: Everywhere in the shop various pieces of armor are thrown about, shields of different sizes litter the floor, and arrayed under the now-broken shelves and tables are enough various boots to outfit a battalion. A large hole is broken through a side wall. The door is toen down. The building took several ballista bolts during the battle. At the far end of the building, there is a single wide table. The heavy chest is on the floor, broken, a large supplement of coins from it now covers the floor.
The Keep: Was once a tall, proud building. Now a mighty large pile of rubble. There is one (covered) pit in the center of the first floor, with something glowing below.
The Temple: Tall and proud, beautiful building of white marble, a solid first floor surrounded by columns is supporting several ring-shaped floors held up by beautiful marble supports. A deep pool of shiny, clear water can be seen inside the building. Well, it probably was like that. The entire thing has recently tried to rise up in mighty wrath as a gigantic statue of a carp, but failed miserably and broke to pieces. Afterwards, the overpowered Rooster single-handedly sent the whole place into oblivion along with the elves, who now cannot be seen, heard, or even smelled by anyone other than themselves.
