Being stuck between two equally insurmountable obstacles is never pretty. Likewise, being stuck with a mountain of work when you have an action-intensive phase in your RPG is never pretty as well. Just when I needed to do a lot of printing, the HP AiO thing I have decided to act up and not print anything. I spent most of the day today trying to fix the problem, but still didn't get far. I managed to carve out some time to get the next turn into readable form though. :)

Watch out for errors, they are very likely to be there. I don't want discontinuities.

------------
Turn 52
------------
Quote from: Gantolandon
I send TK blasts to knock out the most threatening monsters, beginning from the demon who just attacked me. I generally try to cover everyone who haven't yet managed to reach the tavern.
|   KAA-MEE-HAA-MEE-HAA!!! Focusing your entire supply of mental power into one brilliant outburst, you pummel everything before you with a devastating TK shockwave!!! You seem to be very proficient at this sort of thing. Most of the pillars Boksi created are broken and thrown away. Everyone who's at or near the keep is hit by the shockwave!
Frelock:{2+1}   Frelock's TK field holds against the blast and protects him from debris, but he can't hold it together under the stress, and as the wave passes, it dissipates.
Korora:{4}   Thrusting the Ashcraver into the ground, korora anchors himself to hold against the blast, and Ashcraver protects him from flying debris.
Chaoticag:{6}   In the last moment before his stasis field started disappearing, Chaoticag noticed the oncoming blast and concentrated on keeping it up again. The field strengthens, and protects him, but he is immobilized for the entire turn.
andrea:{3+1-2(agi)}   Andrea is lifted off the ground by the blast, the webs on him are torn, and many heavy debris fly into him! | Using his charged maul, Andrea smites the incoming rocks into dust! Then, using his lightning-form, he is able to safely come back onto land.
Rooster:{1}   Rooster is hit by the shockwave and flying debris! He is thrown into the air and smacked with one of Boksi's broken pillars! | He manages to use his many arms to dampen the hit, and is able to throw himself off the pillar! | He regroups as he lands, tumbles, and comes to a stop on the ground, more or less unharmed.
Legions of Doom on the ground:{3}   The smaller critters like ratmen, rats, and moles are all completely blown away! | Most of them land outside of the keep, many have died from the injuries sustained after landing. | The great black spiders that stood menacing over the smaller creatures  have gathered a lot of the debris, the broken rock pillars have skewered two of them, and the rest were hit by several large rocks and thrown away. | The metal golems fared little better, their brittle bodies were mercilessly torn apart by the many stone projectiles created by the blast. | Only the winged demons have evaded the blast by flying into the sky.
Legions of Doom in the air:{6}   The blast was directed at the ground mostly, and the creatures in the air were not harmed.
Gantolandon collapses on the spot, having completely exhausted his energy. (unconscious, additional -2 to power use)
Quote from: Frelock
I fly over to the tavern and heal Elica and the as-yet-unnamed dwarf.
|   You are unable to restore your concentration after losing your shield so abruptly.
Quote from: Boksi
I descend downwards to JKL, get my ring from him and put it on.
|   The massive discharge of Gantolandon's powers frightened you - just a little, but it was enough for you to lose your balance and fall off the pillar. You are momentarily knocked out by the hard landing, but quickly come to your senses.
Quote from: korora
I'll carve a path to the tavern and put my key in the proper keyhole.
|   You try to pull your sword out of the ground, but it appears it's stuck tight. You must have hit something really hard.
Quote from: andrea
it is hammer time! i go back to the tavern, smashing monsters and demons that i meet.
|   After the dust settles, you walk through the now-empty space to the tavern, taking pot shots with lightning at the flying bats and demons on the way. | The flying critters quickly hide among the clouds of dust raised by the blast, and you cannot hit them.
Quote from: Kashyyk
I make my way to the last keeper, all golem like, and take the key off of him. I then proceed to dismantle the golems nearby with my axe.
|   You approach the keeper, but he's not alone there. The batmen are too busy pummeling the keeper to notice your approach. You come up from behind and smash their skulls together! | *Crumple* Two now-headless batmen drop dead.
Quote from: chaoticag
   I teleport into the tavern.
|   You concentrate further, and the transparent bubble wall around you becomes grey again. You feel you might've done something, but you aren't sure what. The bubble is slowly dissipating again, you see daylight, but cannot make out where you are or what is around you.
Quote from: LASD
I keep an eye on the paralyzed GCS while putting my key in it's keyhole in the container. I'll examine the container and keyholes properly while doing that so I won't fumble with the keys or the opening later on.
|   Since the GCS you were staring at got blown away, you concentrate on putting your key into one of the holes in the container. After three tries, you found one hole the key could fit fully into, shove the key into it and try to turn it. It doesn't budge. You try again, with more and more force applied to the key every time, but it does not turn still. Whatever metal the key is made of does not even bend! Frustrated, you try to pull out the key and try the fourth hole. The key is stuck. No matter how hard you pull on it, it doesn't want to leave the keyhole it's lodged into.
Quote from: Rooster
I kepp on fighting the demons
|   Demons, what demons? At any rate, most of the critters were blown away, pretty much all spiders are gone, and maybe a golem or two are still standing. You run up to one golem and smack him in the head! | He clearly didn't see that coming, and your axe hit him, | but it was a rather weak blow, and he didn't get much damage. | You feel warm.
Quote from: Jay Kayell
(RTTAI:{4}) I attack the ratmen in the tavern!
|   Jumping down into the cellar, you get your two largest axes out and smite the filthy ratmen! | The ratmen managed to avoid your blows, but they are afraid of you now and all jump out of the tavern cellar!
------------
NPC Actions:
Quote from: Elica Larifera
Elica is a swordself. Recently hired by Frelock. He's armed with a wooden longsword, and dressed in (somewhat pierced and rather torn) green-grey close-fitting clothing with scarce leaf-shaped decoration. He's grievously wounded, his entire body is seriously torn.
In a desperate attempt to save his life, the elf calls out to the nature force of forests to protect him!
|   He tries in vain, but no answer comes. He passes out from the pain and blood loss.
First Keeper is dead. His key is taken.
Second Keeper is dead. His key is taken.
Third Keeper:{3}   The dwarf tries to do something about his wounds, but is unable to move.
Fourth Keeper is dead. His armor is taken with the key.
Final Keeper is dead.
Marksdwarf guard: status unknown
Second imp:{5}   Barely avoiding Gantolandon's megablast, the scaly winged monster makes an attack run at the players at the tavern, throwing a barrage of fireballs! The tavern is engulfed in flames! | Jay Kayell is untouched by the blaze, and andrea manages to jump away from the fire, but everyone else is burned! | Gantolandon is only slightly licked by the flames, his armor once again proving to be resistant to fire. | Boksi is hit by a fireball! His leather jacket bursts into flames, he is badly burned! | Kashyyk is oblivious to the fire. | The dwarf is badly burned, however, his beard is burning as well! He tries to roll, attempting to put out the flame, but is too badly injured. | The ratmen are afraid of the fire much more than of JK and jump back into the cellar to escape it.
Tavern ratmen:{5}   Finding themselves between a rock and a hard place, the ratmen dive into the small hatch in the wall and disappear from sight.
Tavern batmen:{5}   As the fire burns away the webs around them, the batmen fly away!
Army of darkness:{5}   The remaining golems and the flying critters assault whoever is still standing! | Out of a large dustcloud, a pack of giant bats attacks andrea! | He is too slow, barely having time to recover from the flaming barrage, and the bats rip into him! | | However, andrea's armor and lightnings combined provide enough protection to turn away their strikes. Boksi rolls away from the creatures, trying to put out the flames at the same time, and LASD fends off the attacks with his shield, but Kashyyk is beset by two nearby golems! | He is beaten a little, | getting dints in his head from overzealously trying to headbutt the constructs. In the meantime, Frelock regains control of his power and flies up in his TK field, and Korora rips the Ashcraver out of the ground, revealing a humongous chunk of bauxite that the sword got stuck in. As Frelock flies overhead at ramming speed, concentrating his field forward to throw any opposition out of the sky, Korora runs with all speed the current weight of his weapon allows, periodically deflecting attacks by suicidal bats. | Neither got many hits in, but both made it to the tavern remains.
Winged demon#1:{1}   Dazed and confused by the ordeal, the demon flies into a dust cloud and seems to meet a giant bat face-to-face. | He comes out unharmed, | largely because the bat attempted to turn away at the last moment, but that move made it fall to the ground, breaking a wing.
Winged demon#2:{2}   Forced to retreat because of the powerful blast, the demon is hesitant to approach the tavern.
Winged demon#3:{3}   A massive cloud of dust consumes the demon and he fades from sight.

---------
Environment:
Human/Dwarven Capital:   Large city on the outskirts of hell knows where. Holds a modest amount of homes, from hovels to two-floor apartment buildings, a set of shops, a (destroyed)temple, and a (demolished)keep. Now overrun by an army of darkness.
Tavern:   Was a two-floor building. Now it's a mangled ruin, thoroughly blasted apart. The building used to contain your enter/exit point, but how to use it is completely up to you now.
Food store:   Square one-floor building with long tables laden with salted and fried meats of all kinds. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. There's a mighty fine hole broken through the ceiling.
Cloth store:   Rolls of cloth and various cloth, silk, and leather articles of clothing are on the many shelves inside this building. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. The entire building is barely standing, most of its roof is collapsed. There's a pile of elf-paste near the building, and some elven corpses.
Armor store:   Everywhere in the shop various pieces of armor are thrown about, shields of different sizes litter the floor, and arrayed under the now-broken shelves and tables are enough various boots to outfit a battalion. A large hole is broken through a side wall. The door is toen down. The building took several ballista bolts during the battle. At the far end of the building, there is a single wide table. The heavy chest is on the floor, broken, a large supplement of coins from it now covers the floor.
The Keep:   Was once a tall, proud building. Now a mighty large pile of rubble. There is one (covered) pit in the center of the first floor, with something glowing below.
The Temple:   Tall and proud, beautiful building of white marble, a solid first floor surrounded by columns is supporting several ring-shaped floors held up by beautiful marble supports. A deep pool of shiny, clear water can be seen inside the building. Well, it probably was like that. The entire thing has recently tried to rise up in mighty wrath as a gigantic statue of a carp, but failed miserably and broke to pieces. Afterwards, the overpowered Rooster single-handedly sent the whole place into oblivion along with the elves, who now cannot be seen, heard, or even smelled by anyone other than themselves.

I hate to admit that the "legions of doom" is somewhat unreadable...
maybe shorten to LoD ? Everything other btw is perfectly fine.

first: If there are some organic(flesh or otherwise) golems then I vomit acid from my stomach (or somewhere else if I mutate again) to make them melt... or if I don't find any organic enemies then I lift them with my arms and slam agains the hard rocky ground
second:I rock hard and sing about these demonic loosers going to hell

hmmm... you rolled me a three but didn't even mentioned about me... does this count as a dodge?

Oh, uh... yeah, let's leave it at that. You're fighting the golem you bonked upside the head last turn, with moderate success.

I'll attempt to turn fireproof and immune to the heat from the fire.

Because everything is ten times as awesome when it's done while on fire.

If at first you don't succeed, try something similar but not exactly the same so you don't get an autofail.

I heal Gantolandon and Elica.

You know, I just realized, if the creation of that ring was enough to summon all these mighty legions of darkness, it's got to be really, really, really powerful.

Guess who's back! Seems like I managed to do some damage while I was gone.

My action: I use TK to slam the flying creatures into the ground at Mach 5.

PS, the trip was great! ;D

I think I found a mistake...

I was supposed to be immobilized for this turn. If this actually affects things then I repeat my action.

If not, I try and find out how I changed things.

I've managed to collect bauxite, gold, and sapphire... at some point I should probably try to make something out of them.

For now, the bauxite is weighing me down.  So I'll defend Gantolandon: if anything evil comes near I'll try to smash the bauxite chunk into their face to knock if off the Ashcraver.

Will we have time to regroup when we get back to the cube?

I just want to get a move on. I don't want to see another "it got worse" moment in this world, we've already ruined the entire town...

We need to get a good artist and get him to draw two pictures, depicting the town before and after our arrival.

Before: A peaceful, albeit somewhat wary and militaristic, town.

After: A bunch of smoldering ruins overrun by a legion of darkness.
