TURN! The "offender" was Gantolandon. He used to act as a turret with his TK blasts, and he did say "With a mad shout,..."
I bet there are at least a few errors in here. I'm a little sleepy.
------------
Turn 48 ------------
i once again try to go to the tavern... slowly.
| And you succeed this time. Even the bolt in your back doesn't bother you much.
I'll look for the main blade and re-attach it. I'll try to invoke the energy stored in the blade to illuminate the area to help my search.
| You try to search for the blade by concentrating on the handle, using the sai-sword as a divining rod. Just as you were nearing your target, a bolt hits you in the left side,
| breaking against the edge of your breastplate and stinging you with numerous splinters. You look for the source of the attack, and in the dim reddish light of the magma you see the goddam marksdwarf guard reloading his crossbow again. (You know, you should take care of this guy sometime. You're like an archery range for him.)
I attack the dwarves with my new axe.
| You walk up to the wounded second keeper and hack at him with the axe!
| Somehow the dwarf manages to see your attack coming and rolls away, the axe barely missing his neck.
I look at the what approaching army is.
| You squint and you strain your eyes, but you don't manage to figure out what the army is. Your eyes hurt a bit now, you have trouble focusing your sight. (-1 sight for next turn)
I'll meet JK and get my ring from him, put it on and hope for the best.
| A little shocked by Kashyyk's unceremonious mistreatment of the dwarf you were going to kill yourself, you lost sight of JK. When you finally do find him and turn to run towards him, you suddenly feel
| sharp pain, as a bolt bounces off the back of your head. You turn around in surprise and see the fourth keeper trying to reload his crossbow.
I'll go take the small key from the speardwarf I have immobilized. (obviously keeping my gaze on him.)
| You approach the keeper, keeping your eyes on him. But when you're barely two steps from him, your foot lands on a wobbly rock, and you stumble, briefly letting the dwarf escape your view. Barely keeping your balance, you are too focused on not falling in all your armor, allowing the speardwarf time to get his bearings on the situation. Seeing you next to him, he stabs at you with the spear!
| Thankfully, his aim was a bit off, and even though you never saw the attack coming, your shield just happened to be in a position to deflect the attack.
With a mad shout, I leap into the fight and butcher all dwarves mercilessly. I try to take out the crossbowdwarves first, then slaughter weakened keymasters.
| Utterly annoyed by the dwarves' continued survival and their attempts to maim or kill your companions (not to mention them holding, literally, the keys to your escape), you run towards the keep, stop a short distance away, and focus on your TK powers. Remembering your earlier experience, you attempt to form projectable waves of force in front of your hands. When you feel that the power begins flowing through you, you thrust your hands forward, releasing two powerful waves of TK force at the two standing keepers! You are hit by TK backlash, and hurled backwards!
| You manage to compose yourself and land on your feet, screeching to a halt. In the meantime, the waves scoop up the debris from the ground and blast across the entire keep!
KAA-MEE-HAA-MEE…
HAAAAAAAA!!! (everybody in/near the keep dodge)
Second Keeper:
| The poor dwarf is lifted off the ground, hit with numerous rocks bricks, and finally smashed against a standing bit of column, shattering it.
| What's left of his body crumples to the ground.
Third Keeper:
| He's almost hit by the debris, but manages to dive behind a particularly heavy slab of rock and avoids damage.
Fourth Keeper:
| The blast hits him straight in the face, along with several large stones. He's thrown back a considerable distance
|, many of his bones (not to mention his face) are broken, parts of his armor are completely blown off. He hits the ground barely outside of the keep borders, and is knocked unconscious.
Marksdwarf guard:
| Feeling bold (and being on the far edge of the blast), the dwarf decides to force his way through the debris! He successfully evades or deflects several stones, but suddenly a brick hits him in the head!
| His head is heavily battered, he's knocked unconscious and falls down.
Boksi:
| Being right in the way of the blast, Boksi is lifted off the ground and thrown through the air!
| He is hit by numerous large pieces of rock, and crashlands into some hard debris. Both his arms are broken in several places, several ribs are broken as well, his lungs are bruised, and he's very battered overall.
| Thankfully, his vitals aren't damaged seriously, and he isn't bleeding.
korora:
| Korora hears the rumble and prepares to dodge, but no skills could avail him against a verily tsunami of broken stone!
| He's heavily injured. The armor softens some of the hits, but heavy bricks have broken a lot of bones. Only the arm holding the sword was not damaged, but the other limbs are in poor shape, and his entire body is heavily battered.
chaoticag:
| Too busy looking at the lights in the west, chaoticag was caught unawares by the blast. The shockwave lifted him and threw him away,
| but he managed to use his TK to deflect incoming debris, and hit the soft ground outside of the keep, suffering no harm.
Kashyyk:
| I! AM! IRON MA-AN! Kashyyk pays no heed to the possible danger, and just braces himself against the blast.
| He manages to resist the shockwave, and the few rocks that do hit him shatter against his scaly steel skin.
Rooster:
| Rooster is not hit by any rocks, being a little outside the keep,
| and the boulder he was under prevented him from being lifted, though the bolder itself was rolled away by the force.
LASD:
| LASD sees the threat in time, and hides behind his tower shield. Whether the posessing entity employed tricks of its own, or it was just luck, but LASD was not touched by the blast wave, and no debris actually hit him.
Jay Kayell:
| JK just assumes his normal "Me defy damage" stance and braces against the oncoming wave.
| It's rather bad this time as well, however. His arms are heavily beaten up and most of his body is heavily battered. Even though he would not be moved by the blast, one particularly heavy piece slammed against JK's leg, breaking it. The wounds are not too severe, but they won't heal completely in one turn.
Having exhausted himself, Gantolandon drops to his knees.
I fire up the TK field again and fly to everybody else near the keep. I use andrea and the lava as a beacon to find my way in the dark.
| Whatever was around you, if it was there, is no longer a concern to you. You encase yourself in your flying bubble, egress above tops of the scarce trees, and head off towards the keep, making good use of the light provided by andrea and the glowing magma. Suddenly the whole thing explodes into dust and debris, you see several people get severely injured by the rocks.
I free myself from the boulder.
Technically, you're already free, so autofail here. You'll examine yourself instead.
| You stand up and look at yourself. You have six arms now, each arm has three fingers. The extra arms grew from above and below the normal ones, tearing your studded leather armor apart. Your legs have warped and now have knees facing backwards. Your feet burst out of your boots and have seven toes each, and toe has an inch-long and rather thick claw on it. Your body became a little more rigid, patches of very hard tissue have grown all over it, and you think your ribcage has fused into one solid shell. Your head has four ears, still two eyes, and two noses, one sticking forward slightly above the other. A total of three thick horns are on your head as well, and whatever hair you had on it has boosted its growth and became a set of thick, flexible, needle-sharp spikes. You think you can walk normally, and can only control your extra arms along with the original arms, not individually. (Until you become better acquainted with the body, you have a -1 on physical actions including movement, but more arms gets you a +1 bonus to strength-dependant damage and dodge. Your dexterity (object operation) is also further reduced by 1. Body plating gives you a +1 damage bonus against cuts and stabs, and fused ribs give a +1 against critical blunt damage to that area. Some smaller bonuses are derived from horns, claws, hair and noses, but they are mostly statistical.)
| I go to the tavern.
| Quite oblivious to possible aftereffects of the recent blast, you decide to take a walk towards the tavern, and quite effortlessly arrive at the destination.
------------
NPC Actions:
Elica is a swordself. Recently hired by Frelock. He's armed with a wooden longsword, and dressed in (somewhat pierced) green-grey close-fitting clothing with scarce leaf-shaped decoration. Is badly burned, but otherwise alright.
Barely avoiding being hit by the blast, Elica decides to finish off any dwarves who remain alive. Specifically, he targets the spear-wielding keeper dwarf.
| Effortlessly running through the piles of rubble on his elven feet, Elica charges at the third keeper, who is just standing up from behind his cover!
| Obviously outclassing the elf, the dwarf parries the attacks with his spear, and prepares to strike back!
This is the ballista operator dwarf who was resurrected by Frelock. He practically LOVES Frelock. Has brown hair and wears clothes of indiscernable blackish leather.
He's likely to be dead.
First Keeper is dead.
Second Keeper is dead.
Third Keeper:{3} The dwarf stabs at Elica with his spear, but the elf is too fast for him and jumps away easily, barely getting a scratch.
Fourth Keeper:{4-2} Unconscious somewhere outside of the keep.
Final Keeper is dead.
Marksdwarf guard:{1-2} Also unconscious.

"A massive, massive, MASSIVE sword. It is three meters long, 1'3'' (~40cm) wide, and dazzingly bright. Its fine steel has been polished to reflect light like a mirror. Its one edge is curved, jagged at the hilt, the other is straight and so sharp it could probably slice adamantine blocks like salami. Down the center of the sword, which is at least 2'' thick, runs a hollow slit 3'' wide, in which yeat another, smaller and straighter sword is concealed. The entire surface of both swords, except of course the sharp cutting edges, is finely engraved with uncountable images, among which the launching of the Challenger, world war II, a nuclear explosion, a trainwreck, and a rotary excavator. The hilt itself (being at the same time the hilt of the smaller sword) is decorated with gold and emeralds you can only assume you've taken from someone, arranged in beautiful patterns, and the handle is woven with three lines - one is a scaly snake with two small rubies in the eyes, and two seem awfully like DNA strands. You get a feeling you could decipher the human genome if you looked closely enough. The guard of the hilt is exquisitely detailed as well, but right down the senter of it, spanning the breadth of the sword, is a solid rectangular golden plate, with the single word: ""ASHCRAVER"" deeply embossed onto it. The entire thing is so immeasurably brilliant, you almost don't want to touch it fearing it'll stick to your hand and corrupt you like some magic ring. Overcoming this fear, you pick it up. Despite its size, it is relatively lightweight, relatively, of course, to anything else so large and made of steel.
The second form is a smaller (comparatively) blade, that together with the folding hilt guard looks like an overgrown sai. It's also exquisitely detailed, but lighter. (+1 to damage, -1 to agility).
The Ashcraver seems to accumulate the energy released by the deaths it causes. The process is admittedly rather slow, but has good uses."

---------
Environment:
Tavern: Was a two-floor building. Now it's a mangled ruin, thoroughly blasted apart. The building used to contain your enter/exit point, but how to use it is completely up to you now.
Human/Dwarven Capital: Large city on the outskirts of hell knows where. Holds a modest amount of homes, from hovels to two-floor apartment buildings, a set of shops, a (destroyed)temple, and a (demolished)keep.
Food store: Square one-floor building with long tables laden with salted and fried meats of all kinds. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. There's a mighty fine hole broken through the ceiling.
Cloth store: Rolls of cloth and various cloth, silk, and leather articles of clothing are on the many shelves inside this building. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. The entire building is barely standing, most of its roof is collapsed. There's a pile of elf-paste near the building, and some elven corpses.
Armor store: Everywhere in the shop various pieces of armor are thrown about, shields of different sizes litter the floor, and arrayed under the now-broken shelves and tables are enough various boots to outfit a battalion. A large hole is broken through a side wall. The door is toen down. The building took several ballista bolts during the battle. At the far end of the building, there is a single wide table. The heavy chest is on the floor, broken, a large supplement of coins from it now covers the floor.
The Keep: Was once a tall, proud building. Now a mighty large pile of rubble. There is one (covered) pit in the center of the first floor, with something glowing below.
The Temple: Tall and proud, beautiful building of white marble, a solid first floor surrounded by columns is supporting several ring-shaped floors held up by beautiful marble supports. A deep pool of shiny, clear water can be seen inside the building. Well, it probably was like that. The entire thing has recently tried to rise up in mighty wrath as a gigantic statue of a carp, but failed miserably and broke to pieces. Afterwards, the overpowered Rooster single-handedly sent the whole place into oblivion along with the elves, who now cannot be seen, heard, or even smelled by anyone other than themselves.
------------
Background: [1] Everyone is kinda overtaken by the massive blast that just blew everyone away, but the appearance of two almost man-sized winged scaly creatures, who flew up from the lava-filled hole in the ground, could not be missed.
