Alright, rolls are here. Sorry for all the delays, but I've been having some problems lately.
------------
Turn 45 ------------
"i try to learn to speak dwarven language.
i tell them that i don't want to hurt them . i suggest them that i could give my lightning hammer for the artifact that we call ""the key""(without saying that the lightning isn't in the hammer. but liar is a skill in DF, isn't it?). if i manage to get it, the other people iwll probably go away.
while saying this, i send some sparks out of the hammer, showing them its power. and i also tell them what it did against the elves.(maybe i'll tell a bit more than what happened. but again, liar is a skill in DF)
i also warn them not to come too near to me because that lightning thing that fry anything that is close to me."
| You concentrate, and activate the band. You don't have time to try to negotiate, however, as suddenly you feel great apathy, and desire nothing else in this world but staying as you are, motionless, even though you were in mid-step.
I'll help andrea. I keep the guard paralyzed as long as it doesn't interfere with me helping andrea.
| You give the guard a quick order to drop his weapon, and turn to andrea. Seeing him approach a group of rather aggressive guards, you decide to act with extreme prejudice, and attempt to paralyze the meanest-looking ones. But you concentrate too hard, and your power suddenly flares, literally bursting as a white light from your eyes. As your sight clears, you realise you have affected everyone in view... including andrea.
I'll rush towards JK and use my intimidation ability (on the dwarves).
| Jeronii-Boksi!!! You slide down the side of the mountain with ease, and come to a stop near JK. Turning to the dwarves that were attacking him, you assume your menacingly intimidating pose, and manage to look menacing even without the halberd. It seems to have an effect. The dwarves are practically
paralyzed with fear.
I merely try to wake up.
| You start snoring. For some reason you went straight from unconsciousness to sleep.
I flip the dwarves the finger and go to the tavern.
| You are able to easily (surprisingly easily) leave the dwarves behind, and head to the remains of the tavern. Well, remains might be too strong a word here. The keep at least collapsed into itself, whereas the tavern has been completely blown to bits. Near the large hole in the ground where the cellar was, you notice an elf that doesn't look too alarmed by your presence, waves his hand at you in a sign of greeting, and resumes studying something on the ground. Upon closer inspection, he's kneeling on the vomit-green rug, and examining the square panel that has previously been attached to the wall. He pokes the buttons with his finger, but nothing seems to happen.
Alright, now that I have the goddess' attention (and not extreme displeasure), I ask her to grant me the power to heal all of my companions at once, wherever they may be.
| Wonder is in the beautiful voice that answers you. "
You ask sincerely and with thought for others. That is not common even among our folk. But, alas! No goddess am I to bestow such power. Outside of the forests and the rivers that run through the lands, my power wanes quickly." The voice becomes sad, but no less melodic. "
Few those are now, and far between, and with the savage peoples winning over the lands, my powers have nearly disappeared. Yet this I can still bestow upon you: Whenever you are in dire need of help or healing, call to the nature through this amulet. Lest you happen upon a lifeless plain of rock, help and healing you shall receive, with my aid." The voice begins to fade. "
Fare thee well now, traveler. Live with nature.". You suddenly feel movement beneath your feet, and look down. From the ground, a green vine has grown, and has shaped itself into an amulet, with a faintly glowing clear gem attached. You pick the amulet up and put it on. Immediately you feel its power, or rather
presence. You are not sure what exactly it can do, but a gift from a force of nature could be a nature's force in itself.
I'll cover JK's retreat. Any dwarves come close and I slice first, ask questions later.
| You see JK walk away without incident. Surprised by the dwarves' immobility, you decide to use the chance rather than wait for an explanation, and charge at the group, slashing into them with an Ashcraver roundhouse!
| The dwarves just stand still and make no effort to move away.
| Without so much as slowing down, the Ashcraver went right through them. Just as they were standing, so they fell, all six, headless. Six heads rolled away down a mild slope from the nearby mountain. You are hit in the face (and generally showered) by blood, suddenly stumble and let the Ashcraver fly!
| It wasn't too long of a flight though, and your mighty sword is now stuck handle-deep in a nearby fallen column. You wipe the blood off your face and effortlessly take your sword out of the stone.
Whatever the regeneration is doing to me I try to know what it is
| You wake up and try to comprehend what is happening to you. The closest analogy you can remember is "random mutation".
| The scope of the randomness becomes clear to you when your body is suddenly completely healed, and one of the extra fingers falls off and quickly starts to decompose.
I heal myself.
| Still meditating, you concentrate on your body and heal all of your wounds. Having done that, you exit your trance and get up from the rubble.
I will heal myself with TK, while concentrating and trying to get a 5.
| You manage to use telekinesis to fix some of the dints on your body.

NPC Actions:
Elica is a swordself. Recently hired by Frelock. He's armed with a wooden longsword, and dressed in (somewhat pierced) green-grey close-fitting clothing with scarce leaf-shaped decoration. Is badly burned, but otherwise alright.
Elica keeps poking at the poor panel.
This is the ballista operator dwarf who was resurrected by Frelock. He practically LOVES Frelock. Has brown hair and wears clothes of indiscernable blackish leather.
Amidst all the turmoil, everyone lost sight of him. He's likely to be dead.
First Keeper is dead.
Second Keeper:{5} Drawing strength from the hate and anger that arose in him at the sight of his captain being killed, the hammerdwarf enters a martial trance! Overcoming his pain and the condition of his legs, he attacks korora!
| Korora was too busy with looking for damage on his sword (there wasn't any) to notice the coming attack.
| He is taken completely by surprise as the dwarf's warhammer strikes him in the back! Luckily, the armor offered sufficient protection from the strike of a crippled, though enraged dwarf. Korora is still flung to the ground by the force of the impact, his back is bruised, and his ribcage gave off a complaining sort of creak, but no bones were really damaged.
Third Keeper:{5} Finally seeing an opportunity to strike again, the speardwarf attacks LASD!
| Seeing the danger a little too late to evade, LASD still managed to react quickly and deflect the attack with his shield, careful not to actually cause harm to the dwarf in the process. LASD's eyes no longer on him, andrea comes to his senses.
Fourth Keeper:{1} Seeing the state of affairs, the dwarf decides to preserve the relic, and attempts to flee with the relic container! He stumbles in the assorted rolls of cloth he landed amidst, and humorously falls out of his little hiding place.
Final Keeper is dead.

"A massive, massive, MASSIVE sword. It is three meters long, 1'3'' (~40cm) wide, and dazzingly bright. Its fine steel has been polished to reflect light like a mirror. Its one edge is curved, jagged at the hilt, the other is straight and so sharp it could probably slice adamantine blocks like salami. Down the center of the sword, which is at least 2'' thick, runs a hollow slit 3'' wide, in which yeat another, smaller and straighter sword is concealed. The entire surface of both swords, except of course the sharp cutting edges, is finely engraved with uncountable images, among which the launching of the Challenger, world war II, a nuclear explosion, a trainwreck, and a rotary excavator. The hilt itself (being at the same time the hilt of the smaller sword) is decorated with gold and emeralds you can only assume you've taken from someone, arranged in beautiful patterns, and the handle is woven with three lines - one is a scaly snake with two small rubies in the eyes, and two seem awfully like DNA strands. You get a feeling you could decipher the human genome if you looked closely enough. The guard of the hilt is exquisitely detailed as well, but right down the senter of it, spanning the breadth of the sword, is a solid rectangular golden plate, with the single word: ""ASHCRAVER"" deeply embossed onto it. The entire thing is so immeasurably brilliant, you almost don't want to touch it fearing it'll stick to your hand and corrupt you like some magic ring. Overcoming this fear, you pick it up. Despite its size, it is relatively lightweight, relatively, of course, to anything else so large and made of steel.
The second form is a smaller (comparatively) blade, that together with the folding hilt guard looks like an overgrown sai. It's also exquisitely detailed, but lighter. (+1 to damage, -1 to agility).
The Ashcraver seems to accumulate the energy released by the deaths it causes. The process is admittedly rather slow, but has good uses."

---------
Environment:
Tavern: Was a two-floor building. Now it's a mangled ruin, thoroughly blasted apart. The building used to contain your enter/exit point, but how to use it is completely up to you now.
Human/Dwarven Capital: Large city on the outskirts of hell knows where. Holds a modest amount of homes, from hovels to two-floor apartment buildings, a set of shops, a (destroyed)temple, and a (demolished)keep.
Food store: Square one-floor building with long tables laden with salted and fried meats of all kinds. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. There's a mighty fine hole broken through the ceiling.
Cloth store: Rolls of cloth and various cloth, silk, and leather articles of clothing are on the many shelves inside this building. There's a single wide table at the far end, with a chest on top of it. The entire building is barely standing, most of its roof is collapsed. There's a pile of elf-paste near the building, and some elven corpses.
Armor store: Everywhere in the shop various pieces of armor are thrown about, shields of different sizes litter the floor, and arrayed under the now-broken shelves and tables are enough various boots to outfit a battalion. At the far end of the building, there is a single wide table. The heavy chest is on the floor, broken, a large supplement of coins from it now covers the floor.
The Keep: Was once a tall, proud building. Now a mighty large pile of rubble. There is one (covered) pit in the center of the first floor, with something glowing below.
The Temple: Tall and proud, beautiful building of white marble, a solid first floor surrounded by columns is supporting several ring-shaped floors held up by beautiful marble supports. A deep pool of shiny, clear water can be seen inside the building. Well, it probably was like that. The entire thing has recently tried to rise up in mighty wrath as a gigantic statue of a carp, but failed miserably and broke to pieces. Afterwards, the overpowered Rooster single-handedly sent the whole place into oblivion along with the elves, who now cannot be seen, heard, or even smelled by anyone other than themselves.
------------
Background: [4] The approaching army is closer now, though you still can't tell what kind of army it is. The rubble over the hole in the keep floor is jumping up as something heavily
pounds on the doors that lay there. The ground vibrations subside momentarily.
