I forget who said it but they released it to get testing from US. The beta was a completed product that needed some minor tweaks. This is a beta of a final product that is FAR less playable then DF back in 2D.

This interface/system/version/whatever is awful! Even if it's going to take me twice as long to do the daily blagh, at least we got some new features...

Do the 'bonus questions' take the old productivity and add to it, or did they lower productivity and now you have to answer questions right to get it back? Because those questions are impossible.

So again  TNT came back with the Mimimi, and LCP posted what Rockman is doing in Brazil, so we can gather more reports so we can ban Rockman for his actions

I hate TNT so much, I call CIVIL WAR! lol

@Wooty: Production seems weighted in favor of the smaller companies now. As far as I can tell the questions just add bonus productivity. However it seems regional productivity can be .01, 1, or 2. Not sure what causes a difference there.

@Rody: Just keep reporting them whenever they use those terms. None of them actually add anything to the conversation.

Edit: I just realized something. Since we can't defend the borders since there aren't any large numbers of moving tickets to do so, the hospitals on the borders will quickly fall into enemy hands. Without a hospital in Bangkok and with the new hospitals in the border regions, any enemy who went to the borders to take them can fearlessly attack bangkok and take it since it has no hospital.

So working a Q2 job with 90+ wellness, we either need a Q2 house and Q2 food or q4 food to maintain wellness. WTF.

Anyway it seems Rockman wants war. Since we have no cheap moving tickets it will just be a waste of cash.

Wait... move where? Are you moving to defend the borders of eThailand or are you just going to leave outright? Why are we worrying about war anyway? I thought we had mmp's with pretty much everybody. Is it Rockmans plan to got to war? If so could someone link me to the article, I don't really understand what is going on.

MPP's cost 30 gold each side every month. So for us to get an MPP we would probably have to pay 60 gold a month. He has continuously said that he is willing to sacrifice the economy to fund "defense". All our current MPP's will expire at the end of the month. He is promoting an extremely agressive stance for us and they make several references to a joke that they are gonna play on us the last day of the Rockman presidency.

If we are worried about war then why doesn't the TNT government invest in a government company to create defensive systems? I don't really understand how this new defense thingy works but I am sure it will help to install some in Northern Thailand and Central Thailand.

Mostly because the government is broke in terms of real currency, and there's not enough on the market for it to buy to carry out these plans. Plus, what is on the market has prices reflecting its utter scarcity, so it's not certain the gov could afford it without printing reams of cash (which it is loathe to do, even though it would push the "recommended" value of Gold up towards its real value), or by raising taxes to a crippling level (which is its preferred "solution").

I think I'm going to shift to Grain harvesting for the moment, as we need the workers. If we get a B12 Grain (or Wood) company going, I'll jump ship to it; if we get enough other workers in the industry, I may come back to Housing. But for now, lead by example and all that rigmarole.

Just made a fascinating discovery: we have one border region. Yes, that's right, ONE. Southern Thailand, with its Q3 hospital and 49 eThais, borders Pakistan and Indonesia. All the rest share only internal borders. Which, by looking at the map, means Bangkok the Unmedicated is our second line of defense, while Northern (Q3), North-Eastern (Q4), and Eastern (Q2) will only see combat after it's fallen. GG TNT Defense Planning Committee. I know eRepublik does an awful job of communicating this information, but I'd (foolishly) assumed that the TNT people would make the necessary effort to determine where our borders lay before trying to fortify them.
