Erg. Don't like the new UI for purely functional reasons, purely aesthetic reasons, and functionally aesthetic reasons.

A note to fellow Congress reps: you get to propose 2 laws per mandate. These can be tax changes, donations, or articles of impeachment... use them wisely. I put my money where my mouth is and proposed tax changes with both of mine.

Also: if you do propose a law, remember to do two things: link to a debate area, and... um... VOTE FOR IT!!!

I'm looking directly at you, Rody. Kinda depressing to find a lonely little four-hour-old article of impeachment with nary a "Yes" vote to its name...

I am a v1 noob, Ealb could you tell me how to do the whole debate area thing, please?

About the wood, I like the idea of a wood company to help TRP and Urist

The new UI is a step backwards in my opinion. I hope they plan on revising it (although I find it unlikely because of all the work they put into it.). I'll give it a few days, but I don't know if I'll keep playing.

Rody: when you propose a law, there's a field above the submit button where it says something like "link to a URL for discussion". Create a news article, copy its URL, and paste it in there.

Wiles: yes, v1's UI is painfully awkward, and it's bad in specific ways that make me doubt they'll revise it meaningfully. I think Beorn hit the nail on the head with his initial accusation of them instigating change for its own sake. All the dynamic elements add nothing but chintzy glitz.

I would be willing to invest in a wood company.

And agreed, the UI is annoying, but I'm willing to give it a few days to see if they make any improvements.

With 8 hours and 45 minutes left, the Impeachment Bill is passing. 18 total votes and its 10 to 8 for the win.

Edit: I love how certain bits of basic information still aren't presented. I can't find either my level, experince, or how many total congressmen there are.

Edit2: Wiki is down. Can't access the tutorial. Seems like the beta should have kept going for about four or five more years.

Edit3: Now I just had a song blast out the speakers on my computer when browsing the forums at 11 o clock at night. This is some really ****ty design.

You do know that to impeach a president the vote has to be passed by 66% of the congress, 11/19 is not 66% it is more like 58%. We still need a few more votes in favor of impeachment before Rockman can be taken out.

I THINK it just means 66% of congress needs to vote to kick him out but not sure since the wiki is gone.

A_Fey had the right of it... and this didn't occur to me before I posted an angry screed in response to Rockman's patronizing rant telling us gringo children to shut and get back to work. So we need a supermajority, and not an absolute majority. Alas.  Rockman is really petulant today, though. He's throwing quite the temper tantrum at not getting his way. OTOH, we appear to have twisted his arm enough to get him to post in English at least. So we can now understand what he's on about, for better or worse...

Also: Q3 food appears to only have gotten me 1.5 wellness back. Um. Uh. Joy.

Charman has netted enough gold to enter more markets, anyone have suggestions as to where we should start selling next, or should we save up for a new company to get raw resources or something to that effect. I'd be willing to invest in whatever you guys want to start up, for the good of us all.

Hey Zach, you been gone for a while, as of now you should just wait with the money to see if we Export or Build up materials, then again the gold made from export would go into Rockman's hand so..I don't know

@Ealb, will you help TRP when Luis Carlos is elected president? or no?

That is one questions in the back of my head
I keep thinking "If LCP becomes President, Ealb might get furious then screw us over"

Thank you
and also, did you guys see how Brodie just passed the same bill that I did on the same sector as I did..lol

@Rody: We want to make eThailand better, not rule it. Ruling would just be a plus.

@Zac: Save to gold for the moment. I think a grain company would help but since everything is still up in the air I don't think we should spend gold if we don't have to.

@E.Albright: I too have decimals in my wellness. This whole game got royally screwed with V1.
