Beorn: gotcha.

All: are we going to stay at Q1 until tomorrow to finish that last house? Seems a pity to waste 181 units of production...

Which is the problem. The government has all the money.

So the eThai economy is looking like real life USA economy--FUCKED UP--

LOL, but I wish when v1 comes around we can change it since we will have more power

and btw, I have a good amount of money..around 500thb and 15gold with me..that I don't use, so maybe I can lend people the money to buy a house then they pay me back

Think of it like a credit card

I take up on it to buy the house

heck I will do iou to Urist Mountain and they can take out my wages if they want :P

E. Albright : I Think we should finish the house :P

Looks like someone bought the house :)

So we more or less broke even on those two houses. At least we got some training in for all of us.  :)

If we're moving up to Q2 soon here, we should probably (as long as we have the capital for it) make some of our pay in the form of gifts for workers who'll need it to keep improving their wellness. It'd be good to get all of our wellnesses up over 90.

Yay!

And in re: my "we broke even" - d'oh! That assumption arose from the same back-of-the-napkin math that Beorn called me on in my article, so yeah, duh, I was estimating that we were putting a house together in 66-80% of the time we actually were.

H'm. If we want to have people recommended to work for us, we can't stay a sweatshop. But we don't know if the market can support us without further private support if we start paying "real" wages.

[e] In any case, we probably need a more standardized wage structure than we have now, including determining if we need to bump up the minimum salary to make sure our workers get enough food and/or set up an explicit gifts-as-wages program.

as the new minister of employment I will try to inforce a new minimung wage law for each sector of the market, I will talk with each owner of each company that is DOMESTIC--as I absolutely despise the foreign companies. So if Rockman approves I will talk to each owner of each sector so we can set a minimum wage like I said before
