Both companies seem well-stocked now. The question now turns those with more economics experience than me: is it more profitable for Charmin Ultra and Grains to buy and sell as competitively as possible, or should Grains sell slightly above market edge and Ultra buy from them to keep the money in the family?

I think Grains should sell slightly above, and Ultra should buy everything they need. Then, Grains sells the surplus competitively. Ideally, with a negligible difference (say, 1 cent), Grains essentially gets free money, which is awesome.

Yeah I just buy grain from the grain company whenever its needed, the food company uses an astonishing 100 grain per day. So the running costs are about ~45 moneys daily .

On a unrelated note, I'm still trying to think of what use a military-industrial complex would do to a nation...So, I have a question.

How do wars of secession work? Do you need to just spend some gold, and volia, you are an independent nation waging war against the conquerors?

If that is the case, then a military-industrial complex is useful, but for invaders like us. Taking over an existing country gets loads of angry people against us and leave us prone to dealing with the Establishment once we do get a semblance of power. Creating our own nation from scratch would grant us greater control and quicker control too. It is however more expensive in term of Gold, and you'll NEED to find an alliance to back you up, because your little nation won't stay alive forever.

Guys? Do you know the answer to this problem?
