I just noticed that if you have any skill in Land in Canada, you could make lots of money. It seems that if you have level 7 or higher you make 25-30 CDN. Is there any difference between Land and manufacturing? For example, is it harder to gain levels in Land or something?

I don't think so.

I am now level 9, and can start a company. Should I? Is it expensive? (I only have 12 PYG)
I'm thinking of starting a farming company to create grain and supply Charmin Ultra... what do you guys think?

Oh wow I didn't think of starting a grain company, that would be great. And no you don't have anywhere close to the funds required, but I can supply them. But first you should probably get skill in land as well as a few other b12ers (I think that's what produces grain).

Pretty sure it costs ~12 gold.

Hmmm. So should people start working for land companies?

I'm already sort of invested in manufacturing, but I guess I can resign and work for a land company once you have enough people to work for you.

I have 2.1 or something.
Do you have enough people with 2+ manufacturing skill to become a q2 company, or do you want me to stay here for a bit?

I thought we had over maximum dudes. There's a little arrow that says "maximum production" and it's less than how many dudes we actually have...

I think he means we just need more people in general. In order to oversaturate the political realm of eParaguay, of course.

I moved there, so please leave room for me at the next hiring. Also, does anyone want a Q1 house?

Thanks for the house, Rakonas!

I've jumped ship to start training Land. Hopefully we get enough people on board to make a real supply chain. Go go vertical monopoly!

Sounds like fun. I'm gonna join in and probably start training up land... whatever that means. I've got some reading to do before I understand exactly what's going on  :P

Do I still need an invite? (I read the first couple and last couple pages of the thread and it kind of looks like I don't, but I wanted to be sure)

Edit: Ah, found the wiki and tutorial video. I'm gonna get started with the same name as I have here.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.
