It was harsh. Antonio has said some pretty vulgar things about us in the past, but it was all childish, formulaic insults (generally involving rogering our mothers). The novelty of the analogy makes it more shocking than the more banal but explicitly hostile filth Antonio et al favor.

I really hate this game. I had a nice large comment typed up, submitted it, and it disappeared. Oh well, I'll try again later.

Edit: Urist's Mountiankingdoms just finished another house. I'm gonna move over to DS work for now.

I'll follow (taking care of that right now). We can figure out what to do with the House in due course. I'm willing to buy it for the fairly pessimistic at-cost price of 1400 baht, but my heart's not set on it if we know someone else who's keen on it. Also, since we are presumably setting aside our tools for the moment, we have the choice of whether we want to leave the proceeds in the company or distribute them amongst ourselves (to be presumably re-injected when we start back up, if we all so choose). Thoughts?

[e] I'm going to shift to DS tomorrow in case the old stupid Hard Worker bug is still unfixed.

I don't really have any need for cash ATM. I got 50 THB, 5 gold, a dozen Q2 food and a Q3 house. If one of you need the money, I have no problem with you taking it. Don't fire the idle's though.

Edit: Gonna be pleasant to build more the 5 parts of a building again.

No problem, Andrea. Given the ☼Programming☼ (which menaces with spikes of bug leather) that went into the production of eRepublik, I can't blame you for taking the paranoid route with your medal.

In the interest of continued transparency, I will state that the Q3 House went to Omaga for 3g and 120 THB, plus his Q2 House, which I plan to see refurbished and passed to our last homeless worker for 100 baht. After selling the Gold, this should give us a bit of breathing room to restart production once the Wood industry gets onto more solid footing... or 'til the labor market gets to the point where we can manage to have our own Woodcutters harvest Wood for us at cost.

Um. So those of you working at the DS company and suddenly hurting (a lot) after putting in your 15 seconds should be aware that Jack has stated that given its new Q4 status, its poor, pained workers will be getting a place on the National Wellness program list. Not sure if it'll be enough to make up for losing 4 Wellness per day, but still. I figure that I can afford a Q2 Food and 2 Gifts per day. That's enough to tread water, as long as there are Gifts on the market and their price doesn't rise. We can do exchange, or we can use an SO to handle disbursement, if we so desire.

(As to the why of it being upgraded... pessimism regarding the coming election. This way all that Gold won't be sitting around tempting a possibly susceptible new president to evil. It's been forcibly allocated to doing something good for the country at large.)
