Yes, we cant let TNT win, just vote for other candidates

when V1 comes around, instead of Local elections we will have Congress elections, so how about we come up with a list of hopeful candidates?  I think those that are alrdy in such as me, Luis Carlos, Nightstar and others should stay but we should make more space for new hopefuls? and remember if Luis Carlos Prestes win in the next election it means his congress seat is empty so one of us can use it, and we would have more seats in congress if Luis won

The Congressional elections in v1 are going to be... ugly. Since it'll be uninominal voting rather than party slate voting, we're going to have to coordinate having X many people vote for each candidate if we don't want to just trust in the vagaries of personal electioneering. That's... messy. And ugly. It'll mean we'll be playing chicken with TNT.

How many seats are there in Congress? There are 27 ATM; is that determined by overall population, or is it fixed? The wiki doesn't say anything about this that I can see. Come v1 we'll have to guess how many people TNT will be able to get to vote for each of their candidates, and assign at least that many plus one people to vote for each of ours. This next election is still the nicer, cleaner party slate method.

Also: we do need to start thinking about drawing up the party slate of Congress members for the 01/10 general election. If you're serious about getting the newcomer faction more involved in things, this is the real opportunity to do so. We will in principle be bringing in as many votes as the TRP old guard, so in fairness we should have equal representation on the electoral slate, and also equal prominence. I.e., if we list 10 candidates, it shouldn't be the case that the top five spots go to old guard, and us young Turks are all left in the bottom positions to get in if and only if we pick up new seats (which we will, but that's not the point).

And on that note, I'd be interested in being on the slate.

Given how TNT cadre have been whining that our contempt for Beloved Leader is just whiny sour grapes, it seemed time we address head-on why Rockman is bad for eThailand. And people, I think that the best is vote on ISCP or don't vote. TNT has 21 votes at the moment. Vote on ISCP is good to get friend with that party for the next elections.
