The mods banned me and my company for multiaccounting for some reason (mostly needless to say, I was not multiaccounting), so I gave it up, as it had started to become pretty boring anyway.

So it turns out I played this a while back and I got my player back. My RL region is pretty damn dead so I'm thinking of joining you guys in Paraguay. Is there still a respectable B12 community out there?

Well I signed up.  Same user name as here.  Not sure if there's anything that B12 is doing now since it looks like Zac got banned or something.  I'll probably keep working and crap until something comes up.  IDK, but it wouldn't be hard to keep up at least.  Message me if you want.

eRepublik Rising Beta, gasp. Now with more skills than you can shake a stick at, there's also some migration stuff (at least applying to the beta version) in your profile. Though when it goes live it sounds like they'll just pull from your account proper.

EDITS
Oh crap, Wellness and Happiness values. So screwed!

Okay, this is actually kind of impressive, and much more involved than the previous system. You have 24 hours, and you basically have to balance it all out between Work, Training, Studying, and Leisure. Although I'm not sure what will happen if I use all the 24 hours and don't sleep (not that I see an option to sleep. Or perhaps annoy the company owner by working a full 24 hours or something. (as you're paid by the hour now.)

Food now has a packaging component that increases happiness, and instead of the straight levels you have quality levels for ingredients and packaging from 1-100 with it looks like 10 being equal to 1 point of happiness or wellness.

Looks like they changed how everything you manufacture works in eRR. Moving tickets have a Itinerary stat that limits how far a ticket can take you.

Oh ew... houses now have a durability stat. Limiting them to 100 days of use at max.

Oh yeah, wood is now stone, and diamond is now titanium.

More than just guns now... rifles, tanks, artillary, air units. All with attack, defense, durability, and damage stats.

I managed to get a connection to the site using a proxy server. Then I found out my account was banned for multi. No idea why that happened since I never had another account but it sits badly with me.

Houses have durability stats? Then the game just become a massive grind with no real end in sight, not even the sight of a proletariat dictatorship. What's the point of playing the game now?

Completely agree. I play to have fun, not grind. Since they decided to ban me, they lost my business.

Huh... interesting.
Maybe that's the threat... "If you don't buy gold, we'll ban you for multi-accounting".
It would be interesting to see if that's how it turns out.

Hey. There's a game called CyberCitizens which is pretty similar, but it's different too. You have a lot of stats, like Health, Strength, etc. You can attack people, but the police will be after you if you just start beating up random people. You're on a Google Maps-style city, and you walk around and go to your workplace and work, then go to a shop and buy some food, etc. It looks pretty interesting - I've joined.

...is the police NPC or is it composed of players?
