wellness increase = (1.5 - (current wellness/100)) * wellness bonus pointsSo, if current is ~100, that is a *0.5 multiplier to how much food/house gives.
Thus, to maintain 100, you need double the quality of the place you work, plus an extra two if you train daily.
However, at 50 wellness, you only need half as much gain as 100 to maintain your wellness.
The earlier mentioned
productivity formula:
For Raw Materials
W = 1/4 * A * B * C * D * E * F
For Construction and Manufacturing
W = 1/2 * A * B * C * D * E * F
C = Wellness Multiplier
C = 1 + 2 * W / 100
So, at 100 wellness, a 3* multiplier to productivity, at 50 wellness, a 2* multiplier, and at a hypothetical 0, a 1* multiplier, scaling linearily between.
Thus, if you want to maintain 100 wellness, you take twice as much food/housing, and produce 50% more productivity. (Edit: compared to 50 wellness, where each Quality point of your house/food is directly converted into one wellness point)
However, a house investment will drstically alter your daily food expenses: I have a Q3 house, buy Q1 food, and still maintain 100 wellness at the start of each day(98 after working).
So, a house makes a big difference in how much it costs to live daily, and it is an investment, as you can purchase lower quality food and still maintain your desired wellness level.
