wellness increase = (1.5 - (current wellness/100)) * wellness bonus points

So, if current is ~100, that is a *0.5 multiplier to how much food/house gives.

Thus, to maintain 100, you need double the quality of the place you work, plus an extra two if you train daily.

However, at 50 wellness, you only need half as much gain as 100 to maintain your wellness.

The earlier mentioned productivity formula:
For Raw Materials
W = 1/4 * A * B * C * D * E * F

For Construction and Manufacturing
W = 1/2 * A * B * C * D * E * F

C = Wellness Multiplier

C = 1 + 2 * W / 100

So, at 100 wellness, a 3* multiplier to productivity, at 50 wellness, a 2* multiplier, and at a hypothetical 0, a 1* multiplier, scaling linearily between.

Thus, if you want to maintain 100 wellness, you take twice as much food/housing, and produce 50% more productivity. (Edit: compared to 50 wellness, where each Quality point of your house/food is directly converted into one wellness point)

However, a house investment will drstically alter your daily food expenses: I have a Q3 house, buy Q1 food, and still maintain 100 wellness at the start of each day(98 after working).

So, a house makes a big difference in how much it costs to live daily, and it is an investment, as you can purchase lower quality food and still maintain your desired wellness level.

Thanks for the explanation!

So it really depends on how much you spend on food. If you spend your entire income on food at 50 wellness, you can't afford to get better food - you'd start losing money, your productivity/salary gain would not outweigh your food loss.

However, suppose you're a titan who makes 50 million guaranis a day, and stabilizes with q1 food at 50 wellness. If you get q2 food instead, you go to 100 wellness, make 75 million guaranis a day, and only lose around 1 guarani a day. So yes, it takes twice as much food quality, but if your food expenses are minimal (say, you're Rakonas, who is the awesomest awesome dude in the history of awesome dudes), a doubling in food price (tripling, actually, with q2 food prices these days) amounts to only a 7% or so decrease in actual wages. And the wage increase offsets that.

Shades, I've opened up a new job offer. It's minimum wage, but that's only to scare away people who aren't you, so that nobody snatches up your job. Your wages will be raised soon, to fit how much you produce.

I have to wait two hours days to leave the current job it seems, but I'll grab is as soon as I can :)

Okay so I'm in Urist Weapons Co now, working away at 5.62 productivity. I imagine it will go up as my manufacturing seems to go up by about 0.5 a day (although didn't today for some reason)

What are our plans regarding a takeover of this bay12 country?

That's good, Apple. With that and a steady diet of q3, your salary will really jump!

Guys.
I've lowered your salaries a bit. The formula for most of you is (productivity/2)-1, rounded down to the nearest guarani. It's different for lower-level workers, to facilitate salary gain.
This is likely a lot less than you are producing for the company.
I'm doing this to build up company wealth. I'm planning to expand to a q2 company, as soon as all the workers have decent food and housing. When I've hoarded enough money, your salaries will be raised.
I'm also doing this so that we'll have money to spare. Right now, we're raking in the dough, but if we get enough stock to start a price war like we've planned, prices will go down, and we may need a stockpile.

Questions and comments are welcome.

Has anyone else been contacted by some company trying to sell all manner of goods?

I think this company might be cheating, and buying all the goods they can get their hands on, then reselling them at higher prices. This might be why they have good prices, and why companies' stocks of material don't go down normally. They might have 50 q3 food, and suddenly these guys come along, buy them out, and sell them for ridiculous prices. This is called profiteering (sort of), and it is illegal.

I don't know if they are, though. Do we have any evidence? Should we report them, and let the admins see if they are?

That would be silly to be a bannable offence, I think. The Black Market is illegal, but it's not bannable, afaik.
Also, could someone write up a bunch of citizenship requests in spanish? I think that would let a lot of us get citizenship..
