No, he was the guy who ran TRP (with sockpuppets), got driven out despite his sockpuppets, left eThailand in a tizzy, got banned both here and in eRepublic, and was really annoying.

You're thinking of Rockman, who only did most of the above.
Righty-o then, so he is, erm, what you would call... A noob? Yes, i believe that is the name.

Good day.

How could he be a n00b? He was in eThailand and eBrazil for far longer than we were.

Well, it DID.

Right up until around the first year of WoW, when multitudes of wow'tards used it in the wrong context, calling experienced players noobs. When it was pointed out they were using it incorrectly, they quickly came back saying it meant something different rather than sound foolish, which of course they were.

That is the way a new word was invented on the 'tubes.

It's a vague insult.

I was the last of the original investors to quit, and when I bailed I hand the keys off to... um... who DID I hand the keys off to? It was a B12er who had worked there. I'm wanting to say Wiles or Nouveauk. But that would have been way back in February.

See, now, this is why you shouldn't slap labels on people.

If I call Rody a noob, there can be some debate about just what I mean.

If I call Rody a thoughtless, incompetent, stubborn, immature, arrogant, rude, lying, cheating, two-faced, sexist, authoritarian control freak, there's really no room left to debate what I mean.

Don't label people, describe them.  ;)

You're thinking of Rockman, who only did most of the above.

I never ran TRP, I was never driven out (once Brazil declared war on Argentina, both members of TNT and TRP agreed to move back and help brazil, you see Antonio Salgado is the head of PEACE now, for an example. We fought like crazy TRP vs TNT, but in the end we all knew it was just a game and that it would be better to go to Brasil and live there (where damn have we been successful, I have been party president, hell I even created a political party (União Brasileira) where we are the #2 party in eBrasil.

I got banned in eRep twice, (first I made fakes to counter the Antonio Salgado win, which I made Jack Roberts become president, then I was banned, then I borrowed a friend's account but he had fakes, so I got banned, now I am under a new account and clean, and playing better than ever, I am actually one of the elite in eBrazil.

I was never annoying, I just never knew how to shut up and was digusted by the plans of you Americans (actually Beorn, Ealb, and zach mostly) to come and try to PTO TRP, a party that we had worked so hard.

But as soon as we left, Thailand became a shit hole, she suffered various PTOs, and was actually absolved into eMalaysia a while back and just now came back as a nation and almost got PTOed again.

Good thing, annoying people like Ealb(who in his good days, was a brilliant player) left and eThailand is growing also with new people, Albert Neurath, Vincete Garilbaldi just to name a few.

I wish that all of you guys come back, as eRep is really good now, no bugs, and a possible V2 coming at the beggining of next year.

But now eRep has eAmbassadors (basically BETA testers and translators that work for eRep, which I am one, along side you may know him..Cavalcanti)

Actually, we had fairly decent models on how to make eThailand the most insane trading country in the world, supplier of everyone's weapons and food and immune to take over, but no one ever bothered listening to the math.

The reason everyone left was because the admins DO NOT care about their players, only about the money. "Evil group cheats into office via bugs and steals everything? Buy more gold and oust them." That was pretty much their answer to everything. BUY MORE GOLD!!! I had made several attempts to deal with the admins, both privately and via the forums, and NEVER got an answer. That is why we left. Plus they went from simple and functional website to POS that takes up 200 times the resources for some nifty sliding menus. It sucked.

Rody, your account of eThai history is... interesting. It's also just about as accurate as most everything else in your post (which is in keeping with your past behavior; one accusation I'll never lay at your feet is inconsistency). I'm inclined to wonder whether you're sufficiently short of memory to merely be honestly misreporting the above, or whether you're intentionally misrepresenting it to try to paint yourself in a better light.

However, my inclination to wonder is sharply curbed by my disinclination to care, for the reasons Beorn succinctly outlined.

So, does anyone still play this? I started up in the US, and considering the recent wars, it's pretty crazy.

Nah, but I'm always interested in MMO Politics. Can you give me a recent summary of the wars? The last update of the US talked about a dysfunctional government that lost wars against Canada.

Well, first we decided to let canada keep delaware, and our capital is still in Florida.

The big war was in Europe, were Poland conquered Germany and most of France, with spain conquering the rest of france. It's been a back and forth between Phoenix and EDEN.
