was wondering where those stupid vampires were.

It's been a long time, but I remember that they are located in a train station. But you need to do their quest. First, go to Megaton, and get the quest from that girl in the bar to deliver a message to some town on a highway. When you get there, you realize the town is under attack from vampires. Talk to the sherrif of the town and you get three locations where the vampires might be coming for. Go to the one that looks like a train station.

Your goal is to get over to the Vampires, and find some way to get a peace treaty between the Vampires and the Town at hand.

Also, is it okay if I refer to Fallout 3 as The Elder Scrolls: Fallout and treat the game as a sequel to Obilivion?

I'm fine with it.  Not so much with the thread necro though.  Can't we just make a new one?

See, I'm against having more than one thread for a game, so what you see as 'necroing' I see as 'saving the forum from clutter'.

Perhaps if you people actually started talking about Fallout 3 again, THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY SHIT GIVEN whether or not you necro'd. Look, if there's already a damn thread, and the only thing keeping it from the topic is people COMPLAINING you brought back the thread just because no one was talking about Fallout 3, big deal. If the person posts, and no one replies, as long as he doesn't double post, it can just go back down into the grave. *Grumble* Stirring up shit for nothing.

Look, I'll start.

Did you guys know that if you invested fully at Canterbury Commons, the Caravan trader's repair level goes REALLY FREAKING high? Just about the only way to keep your good equipment like the T51b Power Armo(u)r or the Lincoln's Repeater in good condition.

Also, I'm going to try and make another Evil character, mostly because I wanna see Megaton blow up again.

Right now, I'm still trying to find some sort of way to motivate myself to play FO3 again. I mean, in the begining of the game, my father said, "Don't look for me." And the main quest in this game is to...look for my father.

I don't really want to betray my father's wishes. But if I don't betray my father's wishes, then what? I already became a emo vampire.

Lincoln's Repeater is the most badass rifle in the game, partly because it starts off in perfect condition, and because the loading animation looks like you're tuning a radio.  As a karabiner myself, I can tell you that speedloading a carbine is an insane task for the expertly trained, but I digress.

I'm having trouble getting back into the game for a couple reasons.  My main character was going down the Good path, but I'm sick of hunting ghouls in subways yet everything on the surface can suddenly kick my ass because of monster-leveling plateaus.  I'd like to try an Evil character for the cool stuff I've heard, but for all my impassivity, I just never seem to enjoy being an Evil character.  That and I don't feel like going through the hour long mandatory tutorial again.

The tip is to have a save right at the end of the hour loung tutorial. Then you can reload that save, and before you leave the Vault, you get a chance to change almost EVERYTHING about your character, such as your gender and skills. You don't get to change karma though, I believe, but nuking Megaton should be enough to get you low Karma.

I was about to say, but thank you Jackrabbit.

I might have actually said something I would have regretted. There's is of course only so many curse words I can utter before I finally offend someone.

That is true. I once played a character in Fallout 2 that killed anyone who swore. My God, the body count was horrific. Horrific.

How do u blow up megaton?

If the videos are anything to go by, you talk to some extremely shady and out of place looking guy with a really stupid voice and dialogue in the tavern and he gives you a detonator.  Then you walk down to the bomb and place the detonator on it in front of all the people standing around worshiping it who don't notice you setting them up the bomb even though you're doing it right in front of their retardedly scripted faces.  Then go to tenpenny tower and LULZ NUKULAR AXPLUSHUN!!!

Seriously though, that video wasn't accurate right?  That's not really how it pans out in game right?  Someone who's played it please tell me the game isn't that blatantly and shamelessly retarded.
