If it does, it has a very small impact. All the sources I read claimed it has no influence anymore, and by looking at how the game behaves I'd estimate they are correct.

It's been a day over a month since the last reply, but I felt I should bump this.

The first of the DLC, Operation: Anchorage, is out.

Unlike Oblivion, the quest doesn't show up immediately after the tutorial (or in some cases while you're still doing the tutorial), but a few minutes after you leave the vault. You have to be around 101 to pick up the radio signal to start the quest.

Another good bit of news - The DLC that lets you mess with the Brotherhood of Steel a bit more changes the ending of the game. I can't remember what the name of it is, though.

*Update* Just like the rest of Bethesda/Microsoft's untested crap, the only thing you need for the DLC to work is luck.

I downloaded Op: Anchorage and for my trouble the game crashes about 5 minutes in. Meanwhile I can play WoW 8 hours a day and have no issues. Something is seriously wrong with the Gamebryo engine.

The only system left out of the DLC is the PS3.

I bought FO3 and it's rotting on my X360. And I am fearful I might have deleted the save file, which was a shame, because I just turned into a vampire in that game (it was a disappointing to be honest...) . :(

FO3, Oblivion, it's kind of hard to tell them apart, innit... Rule of thumb: it has plants which are even remotely green, its probably oblivion.

(but there is a vampireish gang in fo3, living in a subway next to the lake. I figure you can finish the quest in their favour and become an emo vampire)

Yep. That what I mean by being a Vampire. A bit too emo, but at least I finally can heal using in-game items without fear of radition.

And write depressing poetry. But that's entirely optional.

was wondering where those stupid vampires were.

ever try to fight a city of razor claws? i tried....at level 8....and after several retries i found out that unless i had a full stock of bottle cap mines the chances of killing them are slim and setteled with 4 of them. grenades just arent effective enough. they are fast and can 2 hit kill my theif. also cant get a critical sneak on them. ridiculous
