Um... you do know that EA bought out and then shut down Westwood right?  It no longer exists.  That's what EA has done to almost every studio it's acquired.  They can't even be compared to Bethesda aside from the fact that most of their games since the nineties have been crap.

I was actually commenting on Weev's notion that if you don't love Bethesda then you must love Westwood and EA instead.  Basically, that comment makes no sense for a number of reasons, including the one I mentioned.

His whole argument in favor of Fallout 3 seems to be based on knowing nothing about it though, so I really don't want to get into any sort of involved discussion with him.

There's really no hope: It's being done by Interplay. Or rather, not done. Because Interplay barely exists right now, and have had the same 'coming soon' website up for over a year.

I have a lot of doubts about how successful a Fallout MMORPG can be... many of the best parts about Fallout could never touch a MMORPG without causing a Matter / Anti-matter reaction
