Can you really even see whats going on, though? That tiny font would drive me nuts. I prefer 800x600 font and a grid of 100x60 or so - you can still see plenty, and you can actually make out what's going on in your fortress without a 50" monitor.

192x192 (4x4 blocks) area on a 200x150 tile screen.

This is horrible actually. Yes you can see lots on 1 screen, but nothing will be more awesome than a fully graphical DF using 32x32 tileset, but again you will need to have big natural screen resolution for that, so some 1024x768 game window will be waaaay too small.

I made a 4x4 set. I can fit a 4x4 area in one screen, without scrolling. The 5x5 is much easier to read though. :)

its a Herrbdog tile set.  And no i got it off the forums no idea where though, it was a tile set designed for 39c if thats of any help.

Seriously, is it playable at all? Basically I dont even see the letters on Zara's tileset for example.  :o

by making it binary a 4*4 would give you 256 diffrent tiles. combine that with colors i guess you could have most things identifiable. With good eyesight that is...

hm I think that the wagon is in the middle of the map, however I am not sure, I should use some magnifier... ;D
