Could you tell us all the .ini options?

Also, on my turn I'll be setting my fps cap to 10000 ;)

Better idea. How about you do all the work for us fey dwarf? IE: copy your Dwarf Fortress file and give it to us.

Great idea. Here is the Quickaxe folder without any saves: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=509

Also my turn is done, here is the summary:

Spring 204

1st of Granite: We have arrived at the site of our newest outpost, Quickaxe. I have ordered the wagon to be unpacked and the miners to start digging. We will need to be ready quite quickly as there is a great chance of a one of the numerous dwarven enemies will find us here as an easy target.

7th of Granite: Our miners have discovered that this area is quite rich in minerals. We have already discovered magnetite, bauxite, cinnabar, marble, sapphires and limestone.

9th of Granite: Elephants have been sighted. Hopefully they aren't as vicious as the ones I have heard about in stories.

28th of Granite: Everything is still going smoothly. The farms have been dug out and some of the workshop area have also been dug out.

14th of Slate: The barracks has been dug out for sleepy dwarves.

28th of Slate: We have hit gold in the bedrooms that the miners are currently digging out.

Summer 204

3rd of Hematite: Business is going as usual, nothing needs reporting on.

22nd of Malachite: Work is finished in the bedrooms so the miners have started on digging out a grand dining hall.

Autumn 204

8th of Limestone: Traders from the mountainhomes have arrived. I have ordered a makeshift depot to be made from rubber trees for the time being.

16th of Limestone: Those blasted traders didn't bring an anvil. In the end we traded away some sweet pod syrup for booze, a bunch of leather and a caged cave crab. The crab will may be of use as we could possible train it to be a war crab in the future.

17th of Limestone: The woodcutter has come across a kobold thief that must have followed the caravan to our site. The thief was easily dispatched by the experienced Wood cutter.

27th of Sandstone: Eight migrants have arrived at our fortress. I have set six of them to join our military. The others were told to do miscelanious jobs. Those who joined the military were told to wrestle with leather armour and wooden shields.

15th of Timber: I have dug out a trash pit for our dwarves to throw all of the unneeded stone into. The pit also includes a trash compactor.

25th of Timber: Another kobold thief was killed by our woodcutter today.

Winter 204

11th of Moonstone: A third kobold thief was discovered today. However this time it got away from our wrestlers.

6th of Obsidian: The grand dining hall has been completed. I am now in the process of removing all of the cluttering stone that lies about.

21st of Obsidian: A jawa thief has been detected by our woodsman. This pesky critter was killed pretty quickly.

30th of Obsidian: My turn is almost up, next is Echo P. I entrust him with this fortress as I do my own life. Hopefully he can deliver it to a better place. Things he might want to know about are located on this map: http://www.mkv25.net/dfma/map-3496-quickaxe-quickaxe

Here is the save: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=510

O.K now that I have finished my turn I might as well add myself to the end of the play list again.

Ok, I'm done now.  :)
The save is here: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=513
I didn't have a massive year, lots of dumping, stockpiling and making tributes to Armok...
Thanks for the fort, was fast and awesome.  :) I didn't write too much, as I was spending more time writing than playing in previous succession forts, and I wanted to make this one quick(axe).

Cool, that was really quick. I will pm Emperor Jonothan now to tell him it is his turn. It's fine with me if you write only small amounts of text, it allows for a quicker transition between turns.

This sounds like just what my computer would like - and hopefully fast enough not to bother my other projects as well.

Add me to the list, if you don't mind.

Heh. Nifty to see a succession game with my mod!

For any of you that are unfamiliar with what is in it, here's the thread on the mod. Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Haha nice.  Although... how'd you get it early?  Europe/Australia's the earliest and they're on the 5th aren't they? Unless... leaked internet version?  and... to try and stay on topic, I was thoroughly impressed by the ability of this fort to go through more than one turn on a single day.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Oh I thought he meant he got spore and we should expect the fortress update in 2 days.  Your way makes more sense, though.
