Cadaver Collectors own.  I've never had the pleasure of running a full-on army-on-army battle, so I've never had the pleasure of using them.  Still a darn cool picture.

D&D is a rather clumsy system, to be honest.  It also has a grudge against people who use anything other than full casters.  You might want to try True 20 instead, or GURPS, or Palladium.  The first is a streamlined version of 3rd Edition D&D, published by Green Ronin.  The later two offer a huge amount of variety, but it's hard to find specific stats for things in GURPS, although Dwarves are one of the sample racial templates offered in the core books.  Palladium, I'm less familiar with.  All I really know about it is a very vague knowledge of RIFTS, and that it was the system for the official TMNT RPG.  Oh, and I'm pretty sure Transformers as well.

[EDIT:  Also, why weren't any of you in the 'Other Games' sub forum?  I was trying to make a campaign setting with the forum goers help there!  Shameless plug.

My thoughts exactly.  I've read through the 4th Edition books and it's just a mess of weird math to me.  GURPS is extremely simple - namely, simple enough to be explained and understood without a rulebook even.

D&D seems complicated, but honestly, I love how it can deal with 99% of all situations. You want to do something, chances are there's a rule for it.

Like the pages of rules on grapling?  That's why I like GURPS - whatever it is, you can do it, and you're guaranteed to roll no more than three dice.

"Pages"...  I guess one page and about 2 fifths of a second could be considered "pages". :-\

Right, I'll use some stuff from RuneQuest and start making the map tomorrow. Shall I make the heroes for you or will you roll them yourselves?

Runequest? What is this, RUNEQUEST?

Also, hurry up and friend me;

Haven't you heard of RuneQuest? the wiki is here.

So we have a nice list of player's:
shadow_archmagi
Kyselina
Boksi
Aqizzar
SHAD0Wdump
Duke 2.0
Jetman123
Sir Edmund
Sounds like a good number, but people can still join if they wish.

The races you can play are the basics: humans, elves and dwarves but also some more interesting ones like: centaurs, intelligent ducks, halflings, ogres, orcs and trolls.

so I don't have the GURP rules so I wouldn't be able to GM if we use those, but I have got the RuneQuest rules. But guys, it is your decision

What about Call of Cthulhu?  We could have a new elder cod that's a horrible mixture of a GCS, Carp, Skelk, and Elephant.

Dukemileg1@yahoo.com for me. But I must warn you, I have no idea what I'm doing. I will most likely try to play it like those dice roll games in this forum. Also, every time I see a halfling option I always search for a way to have him ride some large, scary beast.

But Human seems good to me.

Oh nice,I still don't know what I'm doing.
Maybe you can PM me some stuff so I know what the hell I'm doing?
Maybe a link to rulesets that are going to be used.
And where this is going to be done.

Pleeeese.
