So I'm playing my laptop fort when the caravan arrives.

"Oh joy," I say. "Oh shit, I only have two bins of crafts."

This was not the problem.

I noticed that the liason was flashing. Upon inspection, it would turn out she is Ultra Mighty, Superdwarvenly Tough, and Perfectly Agile. On top of that, she's missing her left ear.

Is this amount of hardcore supposed to come with a liason? If this one goes berserk my whole fort is going down.

Liason's exist during world-gen, and so can fight in wars or hunt vicious beasts before the game starts proper. If you can remember her name, you could savescum and look her up in legends.

Though last time I had an elvan liason with a missing leg.. he was with a human outpost and the second year that he came. He went stark raving mad just after he passed the main gates.. then he caught himself in a cage trap.
