Nothing comes from a -3 inflated world and, because I'm posting, the world must currently exist.

I predict it'll come out on Thursday because then I'll have a nice four-day weekend to play it. Yes, the world does revolve around me. Why do you ask?

I think it will be thursday also (8th), because I get a peculiar feeling that it will be released about a week from today. Give or take a few days, because we don't know what type of tests are on that list.

I'm hoping it's not October 10th because that's the day Half-life 2 Episode 2 and Portal come out, and if Dwarf Fortress were to update the same day there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Even if you dig to the bottom of the world where there's outer darkness.

I think Toady wants us all to squirm a bit more and is enjoying the speculation so it won't be that early.  I think he'll release it on Halloween so we can all celebrate the macabre by killing off our first fortresses in record time.    :D

I bet I can win that one because as I added some new creatures, my DF messed up, and 2 new generated worlds are strange as youc an play as wizards in fortress mode and wizard,human,ghoul(that one was added),frogman,lizardman and maybe snakeman, and when you arrive to a town or start fortress everyone freezes to death!

I think that DF will be released when its done.
