Easiest way to get food from corpse left outside

All those dead animals and you have no way to get them for food? If you set the dwarves to gather refuse from outside, they start cleaning up the forest? No problem! Here's a straightforward method for corpse recovery.

1) Set a Refuse stockpile under the corpse to be butchered.
2) Set a Butcher workshop to 'Butcher Dead Animal'. This action only utilizes corpses from Refuse stockpiles... lucky thing we just set one!
3) Profit!
