I used to own stock in Maxis, way back when they released the first Sim City. They were bought up by EA. I can't help but imagine that Will Wright has kept EA afloat. I don't really care much care for EA or it's other games, but I'm sticking with Will Wright through thick and thin. He'll be around longer than EA, I guarantee it.

Also try Slash'Em, a enhanced version of Nethack. Some more funny jokes and funny monsters.

I'm having no trouble waiting, myself.  However, I'm waiting for those numbers to start going down faster, since he said he was getting the hard stuff out of the way first.

On the other hand, he did mention that it should be released some time this month.

Something I've been considering: take a one-month break from the internet.  If it does get released after the month, it'll be waiting for me when I get back.  Plus I can do all kinds of good things during my internet break.  Like... women. =P

I'm waiting until midnight tonight for Orange Box to distract me from DF waiting. That'll give me a good weeks worth of distraction, to stave off insanity from no DF for a while.
