Is it possible to change the music?
« on: November 02, 2007, 06:45:00 am »

Because the music while playing the game is annoying and also because I want to change it to Halo: Combat Evolved music.

Alternatively, you could try replacing the music; it's found in the DF/data/sound folder, though you'll need to convert the music over to the .ogg file format most likely and not just rename it.  I've not tried this, but theoretically if the music matches in name and file type the game shouldn't be able to tell the difference, and you won't have to worry about potential slowdown by running two programs.

replacing the files doesn't do anything about the limitation of only having two songs or whatever it is, and anyone whose computer is so terrible that winamp causes a noticeable slowdown wouldn't even be able to run DF.
