I've generated a world with 1110001111 (binary 911). So far I'm seeing stuff that could definetly make me call 911, because too much laughing can cause injuries.

First of all, it's a 1-reject seed.

Second, I've got this perfect Dwarven Picnic location (at least name-wise).
A Temperate Savanna, with few trees and layers of clay, white sand, black sand, and silty clay loam (two aquifers) before rock, located in the Cyclopean Firey Counsellor-Prairies of Incense, with a brook named Torturefleshy the Cross Worry of Idols. Ya. Great.

There's also this Rentcook the Absolute Willful Stray of Blood (brook) running through the Skinny Mountain. There's another, Lakesblock the Massive Ashed Business of Secret. And finally, Screamedcall the Simplicities of Strangulation. And yes, the Skinny Mountain is home for the skinny goblins.  :)

Overall, this world has probably the worst start locations I've ever seen. If you seek a nicely horrible place for a challenge, feel free to look.

3073334900, only 1 reject. Whole lots of snow, with some frozen mountaintops and huuuge amount of rivers covering the landscape. Very few evil areas.

would post an image but tinypic was taking forever and i'm too lazy to register for imageshack right now

But what do I know?
Everything I say should be taken with atleast 1 tsp. of salt, and another liter of Dwarven Wine is recommended.

Haha, I did that too.  The funny thing about that world is that it has the biggest good mountains I have ever seen.  Generate it and see for yourselves.

MyLittlePonyBuiltMyHotRod, this is your first warning. I would like to direct you to read our forum's FAQ and posting guidelines before posting again. Specifically we don't use swear words here, and your picture of Stalin riding a Year3 Limited Edition Starflower inside a German concentration camp was both upsetting and historically inaccurate.

seed: 13437

5th map attempt: Gomathoram "The Legendary World"

(Lots of Dark Goblin Fortresses, I noticed.)

Default Starting loc is where the Jungle of Taming and Tower of Strangers (mountains) meet:

The Jungle of Taming
Temperate Conifer Forest
Temperate
Heavily Forested
Thick Vegetation
Wilderness

Drops you in a nice nook with 3 ponds nearby and plenty of room to dig into the mountain, not to mention convenient above-ground chasm access around the corner.  Top-down starter, right out of the box.

This will be where I play... I'll let you all know how that goes.

I generated 1337. Not much to speak of yet, I need to explore it fully.

Someone should try 2318008 for that old as hell calculator joke.

My 13437 seed definitely suffers from a wandering cave spider.

One family of hoary marmots and two dwarves later, and the beast is still at large.

Definitely no lack of water.  I've counted upwards of 8 ponds in and on the foothill.  Also plenty of trees, if you're willing to dig 4 levels down and bust out just north of the starting location.

I'm thinking I'll restart with this seed and bring a couple of Proficient Marksdwarves with me... failing that, the bluff that the expedition starts on could probably just have a safety wall built across its neck...

[Edit: "Bluff" is probably the best way to describe it -- it's a peninsula of raised land with sheer cliff walls all around its borders.  Great place to start, cave spider aside!]

seed 32 has 4 rejects... it has a nice layout, but i wont clutter this thread with that... its in the "perfect seed?" thread page 3, near the bottom.

edit: i should try pi (3.14159265358979323846264338327950...) as far as it will go....
