Entry one:  This fort has a terribly bizarre layout. It also has a giant bat circling.

Entry two: There are numerous siege operators of various skill levels, but no siege machines, engineers, or workshops. There is a long story behind this. i don't want to know it. However, there is now a legendary weaponsmith in the fort. I gave the artifact crossbow to one of the spine-damaged wrestler champions.

Entry three: There is no fortress guard here. A TRAVESTY!

Entry four: There is now. Not as large as it ought to be, but existent nevertheless. Also, I resolved the shortage of siege weapons. One day there will be dwarves who can handle a ballista.

Entry five: the giant bat attacked. It is named murkchunks now.

Entry six: The bat is dead, but so are four dwarves. They will be forgotten

Entry seven: well, time’s up for me. We traded with the humans. And got some stuff. There is also a project underway to find out if there is any adamantine available.

Yes!  You replaced Mohab.   You're still in.

I just got mixed up.

As a matter of fact... it's even your turn.

Hope you haven't been waiting on me too long. The server hiccups kind of lost me and I've not been checking the forum as much as I should.
Anyway, I should have an update by the end of today (4/11/08). The far end. I need to get to sleep.

OK! True to my word, here's the savefile.
It was a quiet season, so there's not much to report. First off, we now have a legendary engraver, and a fairly expensive artifact (useless though). At my turn's end, a peasant went fey. He looks set to make a mid-priced wooden gewgaw. The fortress lost a soldier in training (he was a wrestler, didn't check further than that) and gained eight immigrants and two babies.  We fended off around three kobolds and ignored a macaque pack, which took off with some forbidden military gear. I traded a barrel of goods for too much food and enough drink, and I've sorted out the nobles so that all their demands are met.
Uh... that's it, I guess.
