[40a] OpenGL problem? (Previously "Bitmap mouse cursor")
« on: August 20, 2008, 08:10:13 am »

When designating, I noticed that the mouse cursor was gone.  I figured it may have been a problem displaying the bitmap, as I've always used the axe cursor, so I went to save ready to change the init to use a standard cursor.  That's when some 'artifacts' of the cursor appeared:

Setting [Mouse:NO] gives me back a cursor, but I just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has the same problem and on the off-chance it's something Toady can fix, even though it seems like maybe an OpenGL related thing...

OK, deffo seems like an OpenGL thing.  Here's what I came back to after minimizing the window to make the above post:

The game was paused there, and only grid locations that contained something flashing seemed to be showing (probably because they were the ones being updated).  I fiddled around with the tab key a bit and unpaused and took this shot:

I'm using an nVidia 6800GS, and the driver version is listed as 6.14.11.7570.
