[39f] built wall floats over river
« on: August 19, 2008, 07:17:36 am »

Just out of curiosity I built a stone wall over frozen river. To my surprise it didn't fall down in the spring, but floated above the water.
The wall is 2x2 and is in the middle of a 4-tile wide river.

Saving and loading collapsed the wall.

River meltings don't update some things.  Save and reloading forces a check.

Okay, I'll note it down.

(continuation, now going with 40c)

another bug (a minor one I think) with this I just noticed:
Once the wall collapses, it makes the area it collapses to "unknown".
Three of these squares are just "unknown", and have water in them. One is "muddy unknown" and has no water in it, but a stone on top of it, on ground level. The stone is the kind of which I had made the wall of in the first place.
The three unknowns have water graphical tile, and the one muddy unknown is like the unknowns inside the undiscovered mountain (just plain black)

All four of the unknown squares are blocked for buildings and cannot be mined.
