I guess I'm the only physicist doing a PhD in neuroinformatics.

Oh, and I learn archery, too.

Hmmm, I'd like to see a count for people here that are:
Computer programmers
Interested in linguistics
Competent graphic artists (have been paid for work)

Those seem to be the traits I share with the most people here anyway.  As for actual uniqueness - I do Computer Aided Drafting as my day job?

I'll go an tally all these claims sometime soon and post 'em in my OP! Right now I've got me a thesis to be done.

Does being fluent in QBasic, Apple BASIC, TRS-DOS BASIC (TRS-80, before the 8088), and learning C# count as knowing computer programming?

Does programming the Pep/7 supercomputer in assembly count?
What about my engineering graphics and design course at my university? It uses CAD software.

I bet I'm the only person from a small town in backwoods Indiana.

Interested in linguistics here, and I know a couple other people around here have an interest, too. I'm especially interested in general semantics, but also other fields.

I used to know some C++, and I plan to re-learn it and get into more programming. I get most of the programming jokes I come across, at least.  :)
