[adventure mode] ocean civs
« on: August 16, 2008, 08:48:23 am »

I don't know if this is already reported, but whenever a civilization on an ocean biome creates towns, they place about half of the town on the water. Now the game doesn't check gravity unless an adventurer is there, so the town just floats on the water until you appear. Then about half of the town collapses, killing everyone inside those buildings. I have even had times where the mead hall is floating over the water so that as so as I appear inside it, it collapses killing me instantly. The problem might be that the game is saying that this is the design for the town without taking into effect things like the biomes, and then just placing a building where it thinks it should go, regardless of the fact that it is floating on water.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
