Plus I'm willing to bet at least 5 million of those are in some way pornographic. Even if it's only something small like a spitter for a penis.

Since those numbers come from the official Sporepedia, no, no porno.  Doesn't last a second on there, unless it is very, very, very lucky and the user does nothing to draw attention to himself.

The amount of "Good" creatures on Sporepedia are rather low however.

A lot of people just send a bunch of junk... though to admit... the game doesn't give you a choice. You WILL send your junk (unless they gave an option to turn off auto-send while playing the game)

Does it even send the evolutionary dead-ends that were changed a couple of minutes later because it just took a moment to realise how ugly it was, or because you couldn't out-sing something without sticking on a part that made no sense? Or what about people who actually try to evolve their critter, I remember that I ended up quite satisfied with my ankylosaurians, but there were some pretty ugly stages they went through while they went from fish, to quadruped, to biped...

Also, if there are millions of critters, and I am getting them, as evidenced by the pornographic critters that do make it through, then how come the majority of the universe is populated by the same three species?

You only have a cache of certain creatures on your own game.  You can delete them and restrict them to friend-content only.

Does anyone know a fast way to redownload all of your old creatures?

My computer... exploded... and I forgot to collect all my old creatures. I am going to start playing again soon and create more creatures of my own.

They check 307 thousand creatures a day?

I'm guessing there's a "report obscene content" button. :P

Exactly.  Not to mention, at just about any given time of day, there will be some people looking at the newly uploaded stuff.  It is almost guaranteed one that will hit that button will see something offensive.  Also, most people don't want to risk it.

Eh, no one really worries about the risk. If you can draw and mold stuff in game, there will always be penises or breast monsters.

This one is almost cute. For a penis.

Actually, they will.  If they are too common, it will be really easy to get banned for it.  So most people just don't, and the very few that do are lucky not to get banned.

But there a couple dozen just on youtube, and there probably at least two or three not shown for each one uploaded. Conservily there at least a hundred.

I know it against the EULA. Personally, if I could run it, I would just the preidtor, or xenomorph, or zergling.

Ooo, Might do the Arachnids.

Hmm.. what is the point of having 39 Million creatures? It's not like someone's going to sift through all of them.

Its a persistent universe. Each creature exist inside the spore galaxy and can be visited by you.

You get a copy of that species that will conform with the action that the player takes, so if the play is aggressive his spores will be aggressive. And you get to mess with them.

So when you play spore and can travel the stars, there are 39 million planets with different spores on it.

Not quite.  But there are indeed many planets, and a wide pool of variety in which you can derive things to fill them with.
