I think I know a good slogan for EA regarding Spore.

Yeah, viruses are ineffective, spores all the way!

Ehh Spore isn't the worst Viral Marketing I ever seen

The Handheld game "Pox" probably was the worst I experienced... A ton of fake reviews made me buy it... what a total rip off (and horrible balancing too!)

Yeah, I haven't touched it for weeks now. I think I might have even deleted it some time or another. Even the few fun parts of spore get super old super fast.

I've bought it also...biggest disappointment of year for me.

i didn't buy it, it was a gift.

still, i had to stop playing it soon: as soon as i installed patch, it stopped working. nice, isn't it?

Did you try waiting a REALLY long time? ohh well I understand... yeah EA patches are really low quality a lot of the time.

If I didn't have such limited space I might of actually left it installed, it's the kind of game that's good for a couple of a minutes entertainment... every few months.

i don't mean it really stopped working, it started working in strance and bugged ways. the chief of the tribes was outside planet's atmosphere, game crashed when i entered civ stage, couldn't go from cell to creature.

is that what i get from owning a legal game? is EA really trying to make people pirate their games?
not that it is worth the effort and the illegality.

Should have donated that dosh I blindly spent on this game to Toady instead.

As expected EA only produces 'cute and ugly' creature bits expansions, no gameplay enhancing patches or anything. bleh.
I wonder if anyone would offer money on e-bay for my copy...

I should correct you... that it has released gameplay enhancing patches

It is also still, unless something happened, developing its first expansion... which is to me too little too late.

Yeah, right... just let all those billions of dollars go to companies that care in the final quality of the game rather than the maximum sales they are capable of achieving...

Not gonna happen.  Sadly.  But true.  EA is the Microsoft to computer games.  I'm suddenly reminded of the game MONOPOLY, not sure why...

PD: I will get Spore "somehow" when I buy a decent machine.  I believe I will be able to enjoy it no matter what any one says  ...
