Neovik, unless you can provide any sort of evidence, you're basically telling us to take your word for it that that the video we saw in 05 wasn't real and couldn't have been because you say they said so even though no one else has seen this.

When is a trailer ever 100% undoctored? Pretty much all pre-release game videos are faked in some way so that the unfinished parts of the game don't clash with the material being shown on the video. In fact, trailers in general are usually set up to be completely misleading in favor of the material being advertised.

I hate trying to find videos I've long since stop caring about... I have very little evidence I think I can bring up without a source.

1) The Flying creature shown in the 2005 video not only did not flap its wings but it overall did nothing.
2) Will Wright was able to entirely ignore any sort of texturing.
3) The underwater environment was overall empty and skipped over. As well the creature didn't change planes of existance. In fact the Underwater Phase wasn't demonstrated again at ANY other point.

Any further would require me to reference future videos.

Id rather lose an arguement at this point then sift through the 20+ videos that occured between 2005 to 2008

Off the top of my head, the water stage and putting limbs on limbs.

I'm sure there's a lot more considering I watched the 2005 demo once about 2 years ago.
Eeeeh, wait. If I understood what is 'putting limbs on limbs' correctly, you should try holding a limb over a joint and pressing Ctrl in the Creature Creator.

Example: (done by yours truly) http://eu.spore.com/sporepedia/view.cfm?id=500140382598&back=sp
Over-the-top example (again by me): http://eu.spore.com/sporepedia/view.cfm?id=500124841858&back=sp

P.S. Please ignore the weirdness of the username. There had to be at least 5 characters and that was the first thing that came to mind.

So what you're saying is, it was the early campaign bullshit to get things started and we should ignore the fact that it was blatant lies because it was said a long time ago?

'Freaky Creatures' - 14 New Screens

http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=56632

Oh what the hell?!  :o ;D

...However:
“Online social gaming communities are booming, especially among the 8-to-13 year old tween audience. There’s no question they’re a powerful demographic and we want to provide them with the next level of interactive game play by offering a more complex, in-depth experience,” said Jamie Ottilie, President and COO of Abandon Interactive Entertainment."

Eh.. ;)

I remember a time when 8-13 year olds weren't even allowed to touch the web without parental permission..  Ah, those were the days...

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

I remember a time when the internet didn't exist and rock and roll was the cause of all of humanity's problems.

I also vaguely remember a time when children played outside. With other children. In person. In the sun. Without sunblock. Or parents watching their every move and blaming video games for anything that goes wrong.

By the way, that freaky creature looks hot!
