So where is the ignore function anyway? I need it so I don't have to see Micro102's posts until he gains basic literacy.

Now that was rude... :P
..as for the ignore function, there isn't anything like that in the "vanilla" SMF install. There is an "Ignore User mod" what must be installed in order to have a feature like that.

Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

Thanks Torak! (Though I did have to find my own usernumber to input...)

Sorry for my rudeness... I tend to do that. (Plus overuse of 1337speak annoys me.)

Myself, I found Spore to be pretty... fun.

Looking back at the old trailers, however, makes me want to cry. We were promised, and shown, so much more than what the game ended up being. I have no idea what actually happened in those eight years of development, but there was certainly a lot of wasted potential.

Thanks.

However, I think that's only for PMs?

Heh. That's all too probable, alas. I can just imagine WW&Co making Spore as they wanted it, then EA looked at it, took an axe, and chopped off bits of it until it was the bare minimum you could sell as a game. Then they took all the little bits and stuffed them into a 20-year expansion syndication plan.

You know it could be that Will Wright is purpously sabotaging spore too bring down EA from the inside.

Once EA falls Will be like:

"Hey guys sorry about the shoddy version of spore I released, here have this free copy of the game I really wanted to release"

Probable? iirc, the first expansion pack is coming out in about 20 days. They didn't even wait more than a month before announcing they would be selling us a 'Creepy & Cute Parts Pack' with cube planets. [edit: or not cube planets.]

Fairly sure the cube planets were given to us freely in the last patch.
