The third siege.
"Siege!" The cry echoed out across the fortress. The masons working atop the keep had spotted Stozu the legendary goblin. With him was his greatest force ever. There were at least a hundred goblins lead by six weapon masters. Again I ordered for civilians inside, warriors at the gate house and marksdwarves on the wall.
The goblins marched on to the entrance of Playpapers. The first squad to enter was a marksgoblin squad, lead by a bow master. They proceeded along the road until they came into range of our marksdwarves. The two sides fired as many bolts and arrows at each other as they could but in the end my outnumbered marksdwarves were all shot down. Behind the marksgoblins were the bulk of the army who now had a safe path to where my two champions and a couple of wrestlers were waiting.
The goblin army moved with surprising speed. With-in a few seconds the dwarven warriors were surrounded and outnumbered. The goblins headed by a bow master and a swords master attacked viciously but the dwarven strength was too much for them and they were held off. After several minutes of fighting the dwarves were exhausted but they had done well. They killed both weaponmasters and about 10 goblins with only one casualty on their side. Then another squad of goblins rounded the corner, this time however the champions were not so lucky and had to face a full squad of marksgoblins. The marksgoblins emptied their quivers on the champions, slaughtering them and leaving their bodies as pincushions.
There were now no full time warriors left to defend Playpapers. We were in deep shit. From there I did the only thing I could think off, I ordered all miners out to confront the goblins. The two legendary miners went out to defend playpapers from the goblin menace. However they made a devastating mistake. They attacked the regrouped goblins one at a time! Out ran both miners however one of them (The Mayor of Playpapers) decided it was time for lunch so he ran back inside the keep. The other miner rushed the goblins and was ganged up on by three weapon masters, Stozu and 50 others. He was of coarse torn to bits.
Lead by Stozu, the goblins now advanced to the keep. Upon its breach, I ordered everyone in Playpapers into a militia. They were to group on the central staircase to defend Playpapers or die trying. The militia formed up, 40 untrained dwarves and one trained guard grouped together on the ground level. They were attacked from all angles, losing dwarves at a constant rate. They were fighting a losing battle. Eventually our numbers were whittled down to just three recruits. These three recruits however turned the tide of the battle and managed to force the goblins into a retreat. We were victorious. For the third time, the dwarves at Playpapers successfully beat back Stozu and his army. However there was no time for celebration, we knew Stozu would be back eventually. We remaining 6 dwarves have a lot of work to do to prepare for his return.

http://www.mkv25.net/dfma/map-3386-playpapers-harracothSorry for the lack of Legendary goblins in this post. It seems that Stozu took a back seat in this siege. He let all of his minions do the dirty work and then came in afterwards to kill the children.
