When I left it there was one tunnel leading up from the fortress itself, then about three openings in the wall.  I say "about" three because the wall's not finished, and there are probably more openings than are designed.

it looks like the walls can be easily expanded to include part of the river....

Ah in that case I suppose I will update my df sooner. It might take a few days to play through since I'm back at school.

Yeah, but the game was started in 39f. I personally prefer to stay behind a few versions. Mostly because my fortresses tend to last longer than the updates take now.

Well there shouldn't be any issues from changing the version and accually theres some much needed updates in the new version, but don't worry Joseph I'll upload the save with my copy of df with the mayday grapghic pack already impemented. Now the only thing is I'm not sure where I should take this fort, I'll probably spend today after updating it when I get back looking at the situation and figuring something out. I'm open to suggestions.
Edit: oh by the way is the init file uploaded with the save file or just use the vinilla copy?

The only things that I changed in the init file were things like whether sound was on.  I didn't upload it because we're just using the vanilla one (to my knowledge).

What's item stacking?  That sounds useful.
