Sorry it's taking so long, been busy with school starting. The count is dead though. Damned kobolds came running around his tomb/bedroom before the lever was pulled.

Now a Duchy, I'm trying to hurry up, but again, school just starting I've got a lot of schoolwork to deal with. The king is also on his way, so I'm preparing a room of platinum.

be sure to use the one i engraved the floor of, the gold vein floor will add alot of base value if you don't pave over it.
platinum flooring next to the original flooring(but not over the gold) would be extremely decadent....

also, if the walls aren't engraved, consider replacing them (platinum seems too decadent, perhaps magnetite blocks?)

bear in mind, we may not find another good source of platinum

I'd have loved to have taken another tunr but I've looked at my fall schedule and it's not bloody likely.

1: English Honors: Need I say more? This is nearly graduate-level work.

2: Japanese 101: I've spent two hours a day memorizing Hiragana (one of the Japanese alphabets). I still don't know it all.

3: Science Fiction: We're set to read 9 full length novels... and probably a few dozen short stories to be announced later.

4: Playwriting: I'm one of 30 students who will be writing, revising and reading their own and each other's short plays. This is probably my "easy" course for this semester.   

Combine this with 4 hours of commuting five days a week and, well, there ain't a whole hell of a lot of time left in the day.

Well, when I dug down, it was a huge vein. Either way, I'd be content with just giving him a bunch of platinum junk in his room.

hmmm, hematite side paving next to the obsidian road might be a fantastic touch.... using rough stone for the "pool of blood" look


as for magnetite, 1 vein is enough to outfit 100 soldiers with a weapon, shield, and full platemail
