Well it's strange... I thought I found out about this on this site, but I can't find anything about it now, so I'm at a loss as to where I actually did find out about it.  Anyway.  Look at this!  It's a web movie by Joss Whedon with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia day.

However, your sentences confuse my inner cell-membranes. You thought you find things out about them on their own site, but you can't find anything that you read in the past on it now, so you are confused if you actually did find out about their stuff on their site or not? I'll go with that.
They probably edited their site and thought "Ah, let's get rid of this info"

I watch this about five times a day, then sing the songs in my car when I'm driving to work.  (I think I have a problem.)

NPH was perfect for this role, and the songs are so catchy!  I'm wary of saying too much on here, though, lest I spoil anything.  However, I highly recommend this film and encourage everyone to go watch it multiple times.

I really wanted Dr. Horrible to kill Captain Hammer, because I know Captain Hammer in real life, and it would give me a small sense of vindication, but it really couldn't have been any other way.

Although if you think about it, Dr. Horrible is doing "bad" things because he wants to make the world better, he thinks he can do a better job. And Captain Hammer is doing "good" things because he wants to get laid and adored by everyone. Just my 2 copper.

accidently killing the mutual object of affection by misusing the badguy's weapon, fulfilling the badguy's other life goal in the process by making him superevil

is one of the most original ideas I've ever heard for a superhero story.  That's actually really creative, and brilliantly evocative when you get down to it.

I bet it took Whedon about three seconds to get Nathan Fillion to join in.  You could hardly find a better actor to do an asinine superhero.

Neil Patrick Harris is most famous for playing the titular role in Doogi Howser MD.  Nathan Fillion I don't know much about besides his role in Firefly and Serenity as the Captain Mal.  Felicia Day... I haven't actually seen her in anything else but she apparently writes a web show called The Guild.  I don't know what it's about...   Joss Whedon has made allot of cult classic TV shows.  Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and the movie Serenity.

Was I the only one that was annoyed that Joss Whedon pulled a... well, a Joss Whedon? Killing a main cast member for a cheap emotional response - like Wash and half the cast of Buffy? At least it wasn't even more predictable and turn out that the girl had superpowers or something. But of course, we must now turn our attention to how he's going to plot the sequel now that Dr. Horrible's reason for being is dead.

I know someone like him.  He's this macho jerk who can do no wrong in the eyes of everyone but me and my friend, who see how he is, but he could totally take both of us at the same time.  Well, my friend might be able to take him, but I couldn't.  Of course, if it came to that I'd use dirty tricks, like groin kicks and improvised weapons.
