Hello there! I'm taking my first crack at modding DF, and was wondering if you folks thought I could handle a job like making animals other than dogs trainable. I have placed the [trAINABLE] line in the code for the Muskox, and have changed the rest of the line to mimic that of the dog. However, I can't seem to find the entry for War Dog and Hunting Dog, so I can't create a new entry for War/Hunting Muskox. Is there code at work here I am not prepared to handle, or am I just not looking in the right places?

You need not look anywhere. TRAINABLE by itself adds the two varieties, and there's no way to alter their specifics. Just adding TRAINABLE will make War Muskoxen and Hunting Muskoxen available.

Well, thank you! Now that I know that, I'm off to try my hand at design. I'll let you know how things turn out.

EDIT: Do the order of the lines matter beyond the Creature name? If so, where can I find this order?

I wouldn't worry about breaking your game, you can always download and unzip the files again!
