Yeah, it is. One of the reasons it's still on my hard drive. Actually, barring possible upgrades to Mount&Blade, BoD remains the best slasher game I know. All it lacks is a little more variety in attacks and blocks (like parrying with a one-handed weapon), and a touch of better controls.

Blade of Darkness was great. :D

One major problem with trying out the demo first... the real demo... is that allot of companies don't release demos anymore.  Bethesda hasn't released a demo since Redguard because of some bullshit excuse like 'Our game is too vast and deep for a demo to do it justice' ... right, unlike Daggerfall, which was probably their biggest game ever, and had a demo...  Spore didn't have a demo either.

Unless you count the Creature Creator, that is. Surprisingly, SporeCC would be much more solid as a game than Spore itself. :)

Heh, sad but true. Especially since its doesn't matter at all, that what kind of creature do you create in the main game itself. Someone even "won" the game with a penis monster.  ;D

No clue, I don't have a Steam account at all, I only use Impulse.  :)

PS: The first patch is out for Hinterland already...this was fast.  ;D

There are lot of suggestions on the official forum, I am wondering whats gonna be implemented. Many people are complaining about the simple/boring combat for example.

Well, if that dev team is even marginally good about putting in requested features then this game looks like it might be worth buying at some point. For now, I'll hold off. I have enough games to play without buying one that's only marginal at this point.

But I'll keep it in mind for the future.

That's silly. Just because some people on a forum exchange information they more than likely know about doesn't lead to said forum becoming a hive of 'criminal activity'. In all my years I've never, in the history of the internet, seen a forum for a game get tracked down, sued, and taken out for simply linking to other sites which endorse piracy. It just simply doesn't happen, anywhere, since any company with half a brain goes for the source, not people linking to the source.


Though I honestly don't care enough to argue for public postings of links, which I did not have the thought to do, I will give someone a link in a PM if they ask me.
