[39e] Spam: Jailed mother seeks inaccessible infant incessantly

I have a dwarf who got locked up (for supposedly violating an export order).  She's a mother of two, and since being jailed has started spamming "...cancels Seek Infant: Infant inaccessible." One of her babies is next to her, laying down and flashing the light blue '?', and the other one is chilling in the sandbag stockpile.

On another note, she also has the "Attend Meeting" job active, which I did find in the bug list.

I can provide a save if needed.

EDIT: She's also refusing to drink from the barrel right next to her.  I noticed, too, that her husband has also been jailed, so that might have something to do with the problems.

Yeah, I can take a look at that and try to sort some of it out.  I'll need the region folder in some kind of zip/rar/7z, and any new objects that were added to the raw folder.  If it's less than 20 megs, you can send it to toadyone@bay12games.com.  You can also try The Dwarf Fortress File Depot which has a special section for bugged saves.

Has there been any progress on this?

I have this same thing, although no father in jail.  The mother has four children and one is right next to her.  I did not go looking for the other three.  I tried cutting her loose (literally, by removing the rope) and she sent one message that she was seeking her infant.  It was quiet for a while, and then they locked her back up, and now she is spamming the inaccessible infant message again.  I could remove all the ropes but then I suppose the Hammerer would beat her to death?  She is only in prison for a violation of production orders from one of my three Duchess Consorts.

It's Bug 983.  I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but I have a save for it.  There are lots of open bugs and I'm not sure when I'm going to check it out.

i had a similar bug of cancelations...   was building a large floor and my dwarfs were set nosleep noeat and nodrink, and i had no beds so they kept working through pain...   had a mother with a red leg constantly canceling the queued floors cause she was repeatedly seeking infant...   but cause of her mangled leg, her baby moved faster than her...

<edit> this was in [40d] though

I'm having a tantrum spiral in a 40d fort, and getting "Prisoner cancels Seek Infant: Infant inaccessible." spam constantly whenever the mother of a baby is chained.
