Has any other succession game ever had this many people bail on it midway?

It only takes like two hours to play a year and another hour to write about it.

Well it takes quite a bit longer than two hours to play a year for me, not only because I tend to pause the game a lot while planning things, but also becuase my computer sucks balls and things start to slow down the more dwarves there are. For example with 100 dwarves things tend to take 2-3 times as long as with 7 dwarves.

I write a lot about very little, as you guys probably noticed, so it takes me a bit longer. Come to think of it I probably write TO much. 3 hours should be plenty.

Listen, I know you closed admissions a while ago Nekose, but it's disheartening to see such fragmentation in a fortress that has such awesome potential. As such, for the sake of /v/'s reputation (lol), and my own interest, I'd like to submit an application for participation.

1 vote against list randomization.  Players currently on the list should by rights keep their places.  Just because X drops out doesn't mean Y shouldn't get a few days to claim his spot when it's his turn.
