Ambushed by sharks!

Okay, so my adventurer is waltzing through the forest, ever alert...
except that he walks right up to a mako shark before he nitices it's there, then craps his pigtails running away...
i was on land, and i got ambushed by a shark, who started drowning, and then sailed into a tree, propelled by my axe...is this supposed to happen...?
Also, a race i have modded in decided to build an ocean-side city, only, they can fly, so they built some buildings over the water, so when i showed up, they collapsed, killing all the creatures...is this my fault...?

The first one isn't supposed to happen. And the second one shouldn't happen either. They're both glitches.
