Stupidest thing you've done

What's the stupidest thing you've done so far with the new version?

For me, I started up a new fortress, and took a little look around, and started mining out a small section of free standing magnicite near the river right next to my wagons.  I didn't think to look up.  Needless to say, as my two miners finished mining out the small section of rock, the 5 level column of rock it was holding up promptly fell on their heads, killing them both instantly, leaving the bodies completely unrecoverable and knocking out and severely injuring the rest of the dwarves who were waiting at the wagons just a few feet away.

I didn't notice this until recently, but the bar to the right tells you how many layers you have above 'til you get to the surface. Pretty useful.

Dug a ramp up from underneath the river bed... would have been okay if I had bothered to wait till I had my floodgate in place a little further down the corridor, but I got a little impatient. No casualties, but my dwarves abandoned the outpost in disgust when a year's work and planning was permanently submerged.

I was trying to figure out how deep the fighing hole in the river was, so I picked up this 'stick'. I threw it skinny end first into the river to see how much went in before it hit bottom. in retrospect, 'stick' was a bad term for the object I picked up. 25-30 feet long and 5-6 inches in diameter at the fat end... My friend says when I threw it it went up about 3 feet before it came down on my head. Only 4 staples though!
