A bed.  Forgot what it was, I think its a bed made of schist (or other stones, I forgot), menacing with more of the same stone.

My first artifact was either a Native aluminum amulet or a mudstone floodgate. I honestly can't remember. Either way, the latter was used in an ill-fated attempt at moving some water from a murky pool to my barracks. Ah, that first fortress was such a delightful mess. (Actually, third fortress, after the 'Hey what's that funny pi looking symbol, let's embark there I bet it's awesome' and 'MUST HAVE MAGMA, HERE'S ONE, OH WAIT WHAT'S IT DOING IN A DESERT OH GOD RAN OUT OF SUPPLIES AND CAN'T FARM BLARGH')

My first strange mood was a failed possesssion.

The earliest artifact I remember was a Chalk bed, which happened around the time that we got a patch letting us place artifact furniture down. I know I got a few more before it, but I don't remember what they are for the life of me.

I had to lock my first-first one in his room and let him starve, because I didn't have turtle shells.  I have no idea where the cow came from, but I'm glad my recent Macaque slaughter contributed somehow!

My second strange mood ever!  Same fortress, even.

Not sure how excited I should be?!?  It was a Weaponsmith (one for whom I had to construct a furnace, nonetheless), but the sole component of his mysterious construction appears to be one unit of fine pewter bars.  Unless he's working that iron anvil into it too.

Edit:  Gebdeler, or 'Dentedsteels'!

Looks like I can put it to /some/ use in a weapon trap...and maybe that legendary weaponsmith (if I ever get a metalworking industry set up).

If i remember correctly, my first artifact was a turtle bone floodgate (How is that even possible?).

My first artifact was definitely an adamantine floodgate. On a map with no magma/water but pools. Duh...

On the item is the image of dwarves. The dwarves are travelling towards his head on a high speed... It was the last thing the Nungu Bloatfingers, the goblin, saw in his life.
