So, I've got this caged dwarf...

I was killing a dwarves cats, he was expendable and frankly 50 cats is just WAY too fucking much, and he went berserk. Luckily, the setup I had for killing his cats meant he was locked in a room. I built a cage trap and let him out. He didn't go anywhere until a cat(Ironically one of his own) wandered by, at which point he ran after it into the cage trap. Now I'm wondering what to do with him. I'm guessing I COULD trade him to the elves, but maybe an arena would be better? Ideas? Suggestions?

Will the cage stop him from dying from his insanity until he's let out?

If so stick him next to your depot, brick up the elves when they arrive and when they go potty make him and the elves fight. Once done, forbid everything, replace the walls with bars/glass and turn it into a cheery centrepiece for a new statue garden.

Even better (worse?) your dwarves will actually get happy thoughts from seeing your "tasteful arrangements" that way, even if it's an arrangement of corpses. :P

Build the cage outside your fort, just at your entrance. Connect it to a pressure plate. When the next siege turns up, the goblins will step on the plate, unleashing an insane dwarf upon themselves.

well you can send him to another dimendsion,just break the cage and hes cone forever or you could do what the guy before me sayd,i liked the idea and cause hes probably berserk when unleashed he will kill a fev goblins before dieing.
